Evisu are still around and still make a cracking pair of jeans as long as you get selvedge ones, the European Edition ones are cack!!!

hmm you can always spot a Stone Island easily, even if it doesn't have the brand on it. But if i'm correct you saw it in a shop and bought it online?

I never buy clothes online certainly not expensive clothes. I mean I do have some stone island stuff but every other pullover or jacket fits differently even in the same brand. So did you try it on before you bought it?

Oh and Evisu aint my brand, I mean it really has a bad name (and failed)  since the beginning there were to many fakes so you really don't wanna buy one, they should have done something about it. Nowadays I wear Jacob Cohen great denim but probably more expensive than a Evisu. http://www.jacobcohen.it/
Sometimes I see some old jeans in outlet webshops but last time I had to fit lot's of cohen jeans before I had the right one, so even if it's 200 cheaper I won't buy it online!

Super Mario Land 2 - 6 golden coins was an unbelievable game. Spent many, many hours playing that and when I eventually beat it I was delighted. Have fun .

I thought it was shit. Not even close to earlier Mario games on NES. Not even the fake one.

Some of you may know from a topic i posted here earlier, my parents minivan broke and I ordered the part to fix it but it still hasn't arrived. Given that the minivan is the only car powerful enough to tow the trailer out to the cottage we were all kinda bummed out that we were going to have to spend the weekend with no sea-doos. Just for shits and giggles I went into a local classified web site on Thursday, saw this for sale. Bought it and registered it on Friday. Towed the trailer to cottage (with ease) and saved the weekend. Here it is:

2.8L V6 30 Valve 190HP  fully loaded interior, 230xxx km on it, all for $1500... runs extremely smooth, lucky I found it, I was the first guy to go see it and took it.

what year? It's a Passat isn't it?
Just bought a use A4 that had been sitting in the garage the other day for €1300  spent another €180 to fix a small part on the turbo and it's as good as new with only 140,000KM .

And yes 230,000Km on a non-diesel engine is a lot...but German cars usually last longer than most.

#1316094 by Dedi (User) at 2010-08-09 02:10:16 (2 years ago) - [Quote] - [Report]Top

Its a 2000 Passat, had the safety test done today, only needed front left control arm changed, picked up a new one for $50 changed it myself. I know its fairly high mileage but it is a German, my first car ever was a 1989 VW Golf had it up until 2003 it lasted me up to 470k and even then the engine was strong its just the body was falling apart due to the extremely rough Canadian winters. Luckily this Passat doesn't have a spot of rust on it, the previous owner had indoor parking.
