My new BenQ G2420HD 24" Full HD monitor :-D

Sickin' tired of watching movies on my laptop's 15,6" screen... Especially HD movies.
Now I can finally lay back without being unable to see shit^^

Will be playing Halo on it eventually also

It's awesome and stuff, but only thing that bugs me is that I can't seem to get it to display my wallpaper in it's original size (1920x1080) in extended mode from my laptop :-P

Edit: Ultramon fixed my problem

So what do you think? I've just unpacked it and set it up, so I can't rate it yet, but was it worth the money? (relatively cheap IMO) :-P

Relatively cheap? lol.. its a 24" 1080p monitor and i only paid 180€ for it, it was REALLY fucking cheap and I can't find anything wrong with it... I love it

Word! :-D

#1274430 by Angelitta (Power User) at 2010-04-27 21:08:28 (3 years ago) - [Quote] - [Report]Top

Well, it's not really THAT cheap... not sure what that 180 is, $, pounds or euro but 24" LCD screens here start from 210 bucks with all the taxes.

Anyways... bought lots of stuff but nothing really interesting... for example just bought 1GB of DDR memory off eBay.uk for about 10$ - good deal considering new DDR memory is about 30-40$ for 512 MB.

Figured it's a  good upgrade for my parents' computer which has only 512 MB and a 1.6Ghz Sempron.

Yeah that's pretty scary, especially next to £900-worth of new PC.

That's horrible dude... I assume those are UK style outlets due to the triangular shaped crap you have plugged in...

Get one or two of these and clean up your cables:

If it's LCD, it's more than enough.  That's 30-50 Watts on probably 100V or whatever it is in Japan (if I remember correctly that's where you are) so it's around 0.5 Amps - that gauge is thick enough - according to the site below it should do ~ 1.2 amps max:

Still gearing up for the upcoming invasion of Sweden. Headsets, better mags and mag adapters for our G36C's this time.

Reload?

That's not so many though, 40 mags divided by 5 guys. Or did you think they were all for me? And I suppose those 7 headsets were for me alone also?
