06/02/2013 is the American style of writing June 2nd 2013.

It looks like they are using the mm/dd/yyyy format for the booking and invoice date but the dd/mm/yyyy format for the departure date.

Recently found an interest in playing cards. Decided to collect a few packs! Haven't got them yet so will just post a random image of them, but will replace them with the real thing if I can remember.

And last but not least, the reason why I became interested in the whole business. I got linked to a kickstarter page which had designs for a limited edition White Rabbit deck. I love Alice in Wonderland so when I saw the designs I wanted them immediately. Unfortunately that kickstarter had ended, but they'd created another one with a cyberpunk theme called Synthesis. Through a stroke of luck, I managed to pick up a White Rabbit deck and Synthesis deck. It's expensive but I don't usually waste my money so thought I'd treat myself .

Not sure if I can link to the kickstarter page without it being seen as promotional but they're easy to find :-P

month/day/year.

I certainly do hope that you don't think that everyone is talking about an event in November when it comes to 9/11

lol, how in the world can you have day in between year and month ???

what country have those dates ?

How do you say dates aloud in Europe? Do you say it like you write it 7th of April 2013 or do you say it like we write it April 7th 2013?

In Swedish we put the date before the month when we say dates aloud.

That would be the land of many idiotic systems and double standards.

I Thought this was common knowledge that not the whole world uses the same time layout format.
Apparently not.

No way, next you will be saying the world is not flat and the sun does not revolve around us.

weird logic to have the day in the middle(day is shorter than month and year so it should come first or last), does this have to with the metric system in a way or just the english language?

im confused, then again it is 0650 now so need to sleep
ok men, we do a joint attack on north korea on 06-07-2013 lol

Makes 0 sense...
The only reason for that to be is because 'muricans are used to have the day on the middle, so they condescended by switching places between the year and the month.

Everyone else in the world says 27th of February, 2013 and not February 27th, 2013 or anything else.

#1527502 by Snuffsis (Power User) at 2013-04-09 15:11:45 (3 months ago) - [Quote] - [Report]Top

Speaking and writing is different, when you count numbers, you increase the right-most number first, there fore year, month, day is proper way of writing.

Logic would dictate going from a smaller unit to a larger unit or vice versa.Don't ask me what the hell went through the head of the person who decided that month/day/year made any sense.
As for it being confusing, if it's not the weekend, we really don't care which day it is/was
