I envy you Americans... Love proper beef jerky, love salted cashews. But no way you'll find them in those quantities in Britain. Also, the only way of really buying the proper American Jack Links or Oh Boy! Oberto is to import which makes it cost a fortune. Even the cash and carries don't seem to stock them, and if they do, it's a stupid price as well.

All we've got is the crappy £2 ones at ASDA :weep:

I've got the 16GB 3GS and it's a seriously good piece of kit... I'll be the first to admit it has it's flaws though, but don't diss it until you've given it a proper test run.

Convert some 720P's to h264 and check out the screen quality - Despite there being phones with FAR higher resolution, the iPhone still looks damn good

Grab some games for it - My recommendations are: Plants vs Zombies, Peggle, Fieldrunners, Zen Bound, Real Racing, Call of Duty: Zombies, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. You'll realise the iPhone is a damn capable gaming platform.

Jailbreak it with blackra1n (please check guides on google) and use Cydia / Rock to tweak, enhance and customize. With the ability to theme, wallpaper, tweak and hack the hell outta the phone, it's a whole new beast entirely.

Just got myself this:

As snorky pointed out, got it from OcUK. If you have over 100 posts on their forums you get free next day delivery. Don't spam though as you'll just cause trouble for yourself - been on forums a few years, maybe a post or two a week - it builds up.

And it's a nice looking keyboard - there are two brightness settings but to be honest there's not a huge difference between them - the 'low' is more than enough for during those midnight gaming sessions in the dark (not good for the eyes!). The 'disable windows key' button is just sheer genius - switch it on and if you accidentally hit the windows key, it doesnt work - thus your game doesnt minimize etc. The media keys look nice, but they don't work in VLC and i've not had a chance to google to see if there's a tweak/fix for it. It types OK, but when you've been using a keyboard for 6+ months and switch to another one, it's always very strange for a few days. All the keys are evenly illuminated unlike the Saitek Eclipse II. The 'G-Keys' are nice too - 54 programmable keys to launch programs or to play pre-recorded macros through the software supplied... it even records pauses! So for example in Battlefield Bad Company 2 I can set up a macro to throw a grenade and then a second later I could 'type' a message saying "kaboom", all done by simply recording the macro and pressing the appropriate button to execute it. Sounds useful, but not used it yet... Got some apps set up as shortcuts though.

For the £26 I got it for, a damn good keyboard... most places are selling it for £40-45

i can agree that the games are ok, got most of the free tower defense games, thought about getting games in another way but a friend told my something about a virus floating around, not sure if i trust that , but dont wanna risk it

i hate that i cant just open up a folder and copy 4gb from my harddrive abd past into the phone, but you have to go thru istore crap thingy instead of just paste movies, movie clips, pictures, sounds and songs in the same place tthis neat shit want me to sort it which would take hour i dont wanna spend on that

i also need to google all question as there was no manual for the phone(like how do i put my simcard in the phone !! had to google it, stupid stupid stupid not a manual) right now i am trying to figure out how i can set my own mp3 as ringtones, right now i can only pick the crap that is in the phone from the start, i want more freedom !!

ps, keyboard looks to hightech for me, i would spill water in it by misstake because it looked so good

Changing the model inside the service menu enables a lot of the options on the S7000 televisions like being able to watch Full HD films straight from a USB Key etc. Also PIP is enabled apparently as well...and for me a fantastic picture since I skipped LCD and Plasma altogether and went straigh from old CRT tv to LED. Got it for the price of a regular LCD as well since it was a display model that had been sitting there since before christmas

Nice TV, I love how thin these new sets are but unless I'm missing something aren't LED TVs just regular LCD, just with an LED Backlight.:hmmm:

yes..but the lighting enables the tv to show far better range of color and to show far deeper blacks than regular LCD televisions which gives much better contrast. So the picture looks fantastic..and the whole set is as thin as my index finger...going to switch to a wall mount soon.

Bought this baby and the heatsinks below a couple of days ago and just arrived today:

Bought them at impulse cause i got scared a bit, computer started to shut down and restart by itself after a few seconds about 2-3 times a day for no reason... thought the stock cooler no longer keeps up (but happened even when watching only a movie) or there's some short circuit in the system but now after I calmed myself down I think it may be the latest Radeon drivers or maybe my ram memory (corsairs at 2.1v) is failing.

anyways, it will be fun mounting the cooler and will give me a chance to clean the dust in the pc.

Oh... heatsinks are to be placed on the motherboard's cpu voltage regulators. the p5q-pro has heatpipe and radiators but some chips are not covered. I guess they don't need cooling but it can't hurt, right?
