The thing holding the windows are actually ceramic cups for lights. See, the windows where in a pretty bad shape so I got to renovate some up there and fix a proper "hanging" mechanic. 
The sofa yes. Damn fucking cats, friend of mine went to spain and had 2 kittens which I took care of for a week. They tore my danish sofa a new asshole. I was not amused. I like the industrial feeling in the apartment so wont touch the ceiling for now. Also the construction site is blocking my "fjord"-view.
