I noticed a lot of things. The weird double set of outlets in the bottom right corner of the picture. The unusual building that looks like a set of steps in the left hand window. The fact the couch/chesterfield has some serious damage on the left (right if you're sitting in it) side which makes me think there was either a cat in the history of that or it's been around a looooooooooooong time. The floor is raised so it's more like a large dais than anything else. The funky angles of the coffee table. The couch/sofa/chesterfield is probably a good napping tool. It was 4:00 in the PM, most likely PM, local time when the picture was taken. The cieling needs a coat of paint. There's construction off in the distance of the right hand window, past the large glass buildings.

Oh yeah, I noticed it's an amazing view that's probably more amazing when the city lights of the evening are on.

Actually they appear to face the North of West. The light is coming in off angle as the Sun is moving to the West. Since it's off angle we can look at a simple compass and find it's facing somewhere between WNW and NW. At least that's my take on it.
