Had another smaller cooler before, had better idle temps, about 6c and 3c cooler in stress tests.

Overclocked my CPU from 2.8GHz with this Zalman to 3.6GHz with a 3c higher temp in stress tests. So max is 53c with this one, it doesn't sound that much at all, even tho I expected some better performance of it.

Will overclock to 4GHz some day, and see what difference I'll get in temps.

No obvious reason it shouldn't. It's a dual dual Opteron 275 (2200Mhz) with 10GB RAM (8GB Kingston in the top two sticks, 2GB HP-stickered noname in the bottom 4).
