For me if regulated correctly cloning could be a fantastic tool in medical circumstances but as with everything there will always be a few bad apples in every barrell.

For medical reasons? If you clone a dying man, you will get an exact replica but without his memories and feelings, so what's the point?
the clone usually starts out as a baby, it doesn't turn into an old dying man instantly
although it would have been fun to create a couple of "mes" and send them off a cliff or something
Yes, but it will only remain a replica of the original, without the same memories or feelings.

At this point yes, but you know what people are capable of to create.

Cloning should only be allowed when cloning a heart, a liver or any other important internal organs to save a persons life...

Nah, they should be able to clone any body part. I believe that's allowed under current laws anyway?
Personally I wouldn't care if entire people were cloned. But there wouldn't be too much purpose for it, and it could get confusing if everyone was a clone. But it might be cool to clone genetically superior people.
For medical purposes.. Even science should have limits.

It should be allowed and completely free of restriction. It will happen, like it or not.
Any kind of restriction will just drive the research underground and anything discovered will be kept in secret and will not benefit man in general (only the ones that paid for the underground research).
