clearly you don't know how UAE operates. it is only a 33% that they were Arabs, and around 30% if combining arabs/muslims together.

Unless there are names/nationalities of the causers of the accident, that's a pretty long shot

Note: Not all Muslims or Arabs are like this, however the vast majority in my area are.

It's a very big deal that they were Muslim and Arabic. The average intelligence isn't any lower than anywhere else. The education sucks, but the deal breaker is this phrase- 'If Allah wills it'.

This drives their lives. After spending 9 months in Afghanistan and almost a year in Kuwait, I realized the mentality is much different.

For example; They don't care about speed limits, red lights, stop signs, merging etiquette, etc. They merge onto the highway on their cell phones without looking at twice the speed limit. I'm driving a 20 ton armored vehicle bristling with firepower and I have to slam on my brakes to avoid killing some stupid Kuwaiti in a Mercedes sedan. They ride bumper to bumper at ridiculous speeds and will ride your ass the whole way for no reason. I've watched 3 cars bumper to bumper merge into the side of a bus at the same time. Nobody even tried to yield. That's just how it goes over here. If Allah wills that they get into an accident, they will. They don't use turn signals and weave through rush hour traffic at 100+ MPH barely within the traction limits of their cars. Take a trip to the middle east and you'll find that 2/3 of the cars, no matter how nice, have dents/wrecked bodywork. They've got so much money and live such a careless lifestyle and when they wreck a car they just leave it to burn on the side of the road. If they commit vehicular manslaughter oh well it was meant to be. I won't go so far as to say they don't care about safety, because they do make efforts to stay safe.. however the recklessness of the culture completely prevents most safety standards from being implemented.

The fact that they make $300,000 a year and aren't trained and didn't care to read the manual doesn't surprise me one bit. In these areas you either live in poverty or lavish extravagance. It depends on who your friends are, not what school or training course you've attended.

Very true. A very small fraction of the gulf nations' population are native. Most are what we call Third Country Nationals. They're not American, not native citizens, but they've emigrated to reap the benefits of the outlandish, batshit economy here. Lots of Indians and Pakistanis and quite of few SriLankans as well.

Funny story, however the pics are somewhat false. The exterior pics are A340 yet the indoor/on board pics show the interior of the newer A380 actually a big difference.

This is a380 which has two decks that the interior pics try to show there is 2 decks in the a340 which is not the case since on the exterior pics its easy to see one floor with windows=one floor. Yet the stair case is from a380 so are the other inside pics.

Nothing to do with religion what so ever or origin of persons onboard =)
