i can't connect to ssl tracker since couple of days ...
i got no problems with downloading torrents the regular way

http://www.torrentbytes.net/polls.php

I get 403 errors on the bar pictures (using SSL). The ones in the home page don't use SSL even though I browse the site with it.

TEdit:Ah. The usual "images do not work over SSL" error. Most of the pages have been fixed so far; will take this forward as well.

If people find any more pages with broken images via SSL (but those work w/o SSL) send me a PM.

same thing in here

and about my previous post: ssl tracker works now, duno what you guys did ?

TEdit:I doubt anything has been done at this end to try and fix a problem that is/was on your end. Why a new post and not editing the old one?

Also a quote from the thread rules (aka, post #1): Do NOT report the same bug more than once (no "I got it too" posts)

did nothing on my side so probobly isp was playing a litle games.
and i was just confirming what hanek wrote, but funny thing is i can open that images manualy
if my second post is a problem you can always delete it and i'll edit my previous post.

A few minor errors. I'm unsure if they are connected with the fact that I'm currently using https or if the fact that I am behind a proxy has anything to do with it (I'm at work). Normal forum browsing works fine.

I've set my profile to disable all avatars.

When replying to a thread in the little "thread history", all avatars are displayed as not found images (the classic broken image icon).

After pressing the Preview button, my own avatar is drawn. I'd think that if you disable some (or all) avatars, that should include your own, right?

As I wrote, I'm at work, as these COULD in theory be issues related to the proxy server over here. I will verify these issues when I come home, unless someone verifies them sooner.

EDIT: It appears it is a https issue. Of course the avatar in post preview (when avatars are disabled) is a general matter, regardless of connection used.

Just a small thing, but it got me confused until I figured it out:

I have my timezone set to GMT, but times on the site always show +1 hour than here. Currently, GMT time is 00:53 ( http://www.timeanddate.com/library/abbr … u/gmt.html ), but on TB it shows 01:53. I'm guessing, as I have selected GMT in my profile, it would show the correct time

In my profile it also shows +1h: Current time 2010-03-03 01:48:13 (Your time: 2010-03-03 01:48:13)

Every torrent since 2010-03-19 13:28:24 is being marked New!, even after refreshing and coming back to the site. Just wanted to check to see if it was a bug, or just something on my end.

Update:  Maybe it was just me.  I logged off and back on, and it cleared the New!.  Odd that it started doing that, but I guess it could have been a cookie problem.

With new Opera (10.51) links are not working.
There is redirect error. "No external redirecting allowed."
Even though i have referrer enabled.

If you just click external links  (rather than middle mouse click or right click ,open new tab) it should open a new tab automatically and work fine.

Maye not a bug but uTorrents auto DL can't identify 720p realeases, i guess it's cause you print out the categorie at the end of the file name.

Hi everyone,

In the first message you recieve, there's a fault. (I think)
Pin Codes (4 digit code you set when you first time logged in) are not restored.
Don't you mean "stored locally" or, "stored on the server"

TEdit:Neither? Of course the code is stored, one way or another. How else could it be verified when used?
In my opinion the message is worded a bit funny, yes. That part means that if you misplace or forget the code it will not be recoverable or resettable.

Right, I see now how that makes perfect sense. Thanks for the heads-up!

this was mentioned before by patgaw, but it seems to have no real answer.

When going into a movie, or anything with links. If I click a link, it opens a new tab and says, "No external redirecting allowed.". I try to right click and select "open in new tab" but it still does not work.

FireFox 3.6.3, Windows 7 x64

Edit: It seems to be a compatibility issue with FireFox, IE 8 works fine

W-edit: Firefox 3.6.3 here, don't have that problem.

Edit: your right. I downloaded a developer add-on for firefox which disabled referrers. Problem solved. ty

This thread is listed as being auto-locked and has a link to request it be re-opened. Obviously this shouldn't be the case for any trashed topics.

TEdit:This is because the thread was autolocked before it was trashed.

Edit: Yes, but I still think that because it is a trashed topic there's no need for people to request it be re-opened. But it's not my call.

TEdit:I'm not saying it is not a bug nor that it should not be fixed, just stating what causes it, so it might be easier for the coders to identify.

That's completely normal. The site only tracks data your client sends in this session (this time your client connected, turning it off and back on again would restart the session). The total data is still added to your total downloaded/uploaded, so you're fine.

Hello.

Not sure if this is a bug, but I see several torrents that have long lived past their TTL - in some torrents, way past 24 hours, so I'd thought I would just give a heads up. If all is going according to plan, then please feel free to disregard and delete this post.

Thanks. :-)

Edit: I meant 24 hours past the deadline hour (i.e. some torrents' TTL are in the negative.)

One reason for torrents being alive longer than 24 hours is that the torrent TTL is 1008 hours.

Hm. That bug has been fixed about two ages ago... No idea what triggered it this time.

I've been a member here since almost day one. (with TorrentBit before as well)
Today (or recently) my uTorrent is reporting that I'm NOT connectable.
Now, I know networking, and my router is forwarding ports to my PCs static LAN IP.
Is there something that is incompatible with my version?
I've stayed with v.1.7.7 because of issues with the later versions, and some sites require up to that version only.

Got an idea?

THanXal0t :pirate4:

fuXedit: my uTorrent client is showing a green check, indicating forwarding is proper.

Hello!

I really don't know if i'm on the right spot, but i'm having some issues with viewing Torrentbytes. I'm passing on a screen i took. Here you can see what i see. Never been this way before, just got that problem today. So if anyone have an idea of what this could be, it would really help me out!

sniperEdit: when the issue is clearly in your end, this is not the thread to post the problem.
Also imgw tags with large pictures !

There's an issue with the in the browse.php page.

About half the times you right click and choose Save Link As... you'll end up with download.php instead of the .torrent file.
