Deathproof 4/10

Gave it 4 just for the cars..otherwise is sucked bad.
Tarentino should just stop making movies..he writes the most stilted, boring and pretentious dialogue the movie world has ever seen. Christ I found myself muting the movie several times due to my overwhelming urge to put my foot thru the tv screen.

It depends what tone.... Departed has fantastic dialogue as does Oceans Eleven

Death Proof on the other i think its made with pretentious dialogue on purpose. Grindhouse movies the budgets where so tight that long dialogue scenes were used so the budget could be used on the actiony scenes..

Last House On The Left is a classic example.

whether or not it's on purpose it's evident in all of his movies..from Pulp Fiction to Kill Bill to Death Proof.

It's just too painful to watch his writing IMO I would rather be castrated with a spoon than watch another one of his films..aside from Reserviour Dogs his movies are all shit.

You're just grinding all cultures and ages all down in to one category there. What do you know about how martial artists talks? Or top murderes, organized criminals or isolated rednecks talk.

I think you are absolutely lacking knowledge to grade Tarantino's dialogue. I'm a film addict and I can safely say he makes real quality movies where he gets elementary stuff as this pretty darn right.

People want quality and thats why his movies are big.

People go see his films because of his name....or because it's the "in thing" to do..not because he makes great films with great dialogue.

Very bad movie

Charlie's Angels ripoff that didn't succeed at any point

It also uses the same jokes over and over again, which can be very fun in some movies but not in this one.

Code 46 - 7/10

Not at all related to what imdb says the plot is, or: I got it the wrong way.
In my opinion, still very good tho

i got bored and couldn't handle it after 10minutes

nothing seemed to be happening other than shit load of talk.

I like all his other movies but this seems to be a bit :shit:

and whats with making the film look like rough and grainy.

It just proves your lack of knowledge, it seems that iether it sucks or rules for you. Spiderman 3 certainly was not a great movie, but it was good and far away from being bad.

Instead it proves my point about people wanting quality cause they went to see Spiderman 3 because the two first was very good.

I was pretty dissapointed with this one. Tucker's jokes are good, but there's not enough scenes where Jackie could show his skills.

saw a couple flicks this weekend...

Halloween 2007 - great reimagination of the film 8/10

Blades of Glory - 6.5/10 I'm a big Will Ferrell fan but this was a little weak.No really laugh out loud sequences at all.

The Condemned - 6.5/10 I was very disappointed with this. Steve Austin was a cool badass though but the action sequences weren't really exciting and the pacing was all wrong with the film..lots of meaningless dialogue that just seemed to be filling time.

Little Man 6.5/10 - Not as funny as white chicks and the plot was weak but still made me laugh a bit.
