Nice movie with alot of action in the fight scenes however the story can get slightly silly/stupid at times.

I give this film a generous rating of...

4.5/10 (average film that passed some time) -
Meh, it's not terrible, but not great by a long shot - after watching Hero only a couple of days ago, it made the combat scenes seem poor and to that end, too lengthly; as some had no contrived purpose other than to show off wushu.
Also seeing Jet Li playing the monkey king, (basically an unfunny idiot who pwns at wushu) put me off the film from the outset so I say see it for yourself and decide. My view was tainted from the first few scenes and I found myself web browsing while watching too much of the time because of lack of interest in the film.

Judgement = Sunday afternoon flick to fall asleep to.

7/10 - Very entertaining, cheesey ending, but overall a good film for a Saturday night in with some beers and a curry

Too bad that Kevin Spacey is a bad guy at some point ..This just doesn't suite him.
He rocked in K-Pax and a main reason for my good opinion of him as a acter.

semi pro - 4/10 - standard dull will ferrell film where he plays a fro wearing idiot who thinks hes hot shit. How many sports films with the same story line is this guy going to do? Reckon hes just taking the piss and seeing how much he can make off them?

Forbidden Kingdom - 7/10 - Enjoyed it, plus, been to a similar place in the opening China scene, the rice terraces in Guanxi

However, sometimes felt like the fight scenes would just hurry up and tell the story, but what do you expect from a film with Jet and Jackie?

Spacey makes a great bad guy, see Se7en.

Semi Pro - 5/10, only a couple of laughs. Anchorman is still the standard.

Semi Pro - 5.1/10. the extra .1 was for some of the laughs i had.

its just another ridiculous comedy that cant be taken seriously as a film..i cant believe they have the balls to release this to the cinema!
If you dont have anything to watch then its a bit better than watching some tv programmes

Iron Man - 9.5/10

It was an excellent film, and I would say that Downey Jr. did an excellent job as Iron Man, its almost as if that wackjob was meant to play Iron Man lol.

In any case, go watch it in the theatre, its one of those movies that just looks better on a huge screen.
