Red Dawn (2012) - 6/10 - I appreciate what they were trying to do and there are signs of a good movie in there but it just didn't work out quite right. Hemsworth was good but the dude playing his younger brother was awful.

Jack Reacher (2012)

A much better then expected action movie and Tom Cruise was actually believable as the confident and ruthless former military investigator, Jack Reacher.
I was also glad that there was no clich� romantic hook-up between Reacher and the lead actress even though she was hot.

The Usual Suspects - 7/10 - Very good, though I enjoyed the flashback story more than the overarching Keyser Soze plot. Didn't really blow my mind but the whole gang of criminals thing was well done.

Reservoir Dogs - 7/10 - Also pretty good! Strangely enough I had more fun with the flashbacks and storytelling technique in this one. Some almost theatrical scenes. The best or second best Tarantino film for me. Maybe because it's the most 'normal'?

You should watch City on Fire which is the movie Tarantino took most of Reservoir Dogs' story from.

Transformers - 6/10 - Starts out pretty well, kind of peters out in the end. Annoying but acceptable levels of cringeworthy "humor".

Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen - 4/10 - Jokes for 13-year-olds, Shia Leboeufeuf at his worst, Jar Jar Binks, LOL PENIS overload. Not particularly outstanding otherwise either. Though it has its moments, like the forest fight.

Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon - 6/10 - Enjoyed the action and robot stuff a lot in this one, the most out of all three movies in fact. But it's dragged down by still way too many stupid jokes. A bit too long, too.

Watched a few lately.

Argo : 7/10 - Pretty good but it dragged in places and was pretty predictable.

The Impossible : 8.5/10 - How this didnt win the Best Actress Oscar is beyond me....

Vamp U : 3/10 - only that high due to hot women.

Red Dawn : 6.5/10 - American rip off of "When the War Began". Not as good but still decent.

Upside Down : 5.5/10 - If it wasnt for the glaring continuity issues it would have been higher.

Django Unchained : 9/10 - Tarrantino back at his best. Class.

No, It's a remake, original is from 84, with Swayze

The Last Stand : 4/10 meh, had some laughs. Nice car, must be an awesome transmission in it, since it could go from 180 mph to 180 mph reverse in no time.

Philadelphia : 10/10 It's.... a strong movie.
