Alex Cross (2012)

Tyler Perry can't act and was not convincing as a smart homicide cop and the screenplay was rather bland and fairly predictable. The only good thing in this really were one or two good action scenes and most of all, Matthew Fox (from Lost) as a psychopath. He was ripped and saved the movie from being abysmal.

Brotherhood - 7/10 - Silly but loads of fun and kept you wondering what else is gonna go wrong.

Dredd - 7/10 - It was everything I was hoping for, although his helmet was too big for his head. Can't wait for a sequel.

Liberal Arts - 7/10 - Entertaining enough but I was hoping for more from this type of film. It did make me see why everyone is in love with Elizabeth Olsen though.

Pitch Perfect - 7/10 - I wasn't gonna watch this as it looked appaling but I saw the imdb rating a gave it a try and man was I glad I did. It's very silly but really good.

Just Go With It - 6/10 - Predicatable, kinda crappy but watchable and while I was waiting for the moment they got Brooklyn Decker in a bikini (why else hire her) I was equally enchanted by Jennifer Aniston's bikini moment and incredibly surprised at how amazingly hot Nicole Kidman's body is. I mean these are the only real reasons to watch this movie.

Lusting over 40+ year old women, I'm getting old.

Cloud Atlas - 8/10 - This is a serious film but doesn't feel always feel it, as at times it's quite light and humorous. It's not that easy to follow if, like me, your attention wanders and it's incredibly long but still a great film.

- wow what a great screenplay, gotta re-watch it just to make sure I get all the jokes, it's filled with extremely funny scenes. Both Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann are hillarious.

This is 40 - 7/10 - It was alright. I love Leslie Mann and their kids were really good but the movie is unnecessarily long and not really that funny.

garbage..expected so much more. Totally convoluted and awful. Second worst British movie this year behind the steaming pile of poo that was Ill Manors.

Im actually watching Game of thrones on HBO Go this very miniute and the fucking subtitles dont match the episode, have no idea what they are saying half of the time.

Jack Reacher - 8/10 - Not a bad film since I don't usually like Tom Cruise.

Seal Team Six - Codename Geronimo - 7/10 - Probably not the best movie that will ever be made about this but had good action and good actors. Waiting for Zero Dark Thirty.

John Dies at the End - 8/10 - Basically what??

Not good for a bedtime movie, but I just couldn't stop after the first couple of minutes. Someone took every nightmare every person has had and mashed them into a truly fucked up cinematic experience. And the actors!
I understand it's based on a book. Will have to read it sometime.

Too bad it doesn't appear to be coming to the big screen over here.
