Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country - 8/10 - My favourite of all the movies. It's just about perfect and is a wonderful send off for the original cast. I loved the way it set up peace between the Federation and the Klingons and Kirks last speech was really moving.

The Expendables 2 - 7/10 - Didn't think it was that good to be honest with you. Some of the cameos made me wince, I mean don't let Chuck Norris deliver dialogue just let him nod. The opening scene was the best thing about the movie and the final battle was just OK.

Typical Marvel film although I do prefer a darker more gritty story. Nothing jumped out at me therefore I can't rate it any higher than an 8.

Starship Troopers: Invasion - 6/10 - Better than the live action sequels but not as good as the animated series, Roughnecks: Starship Troopers Chronicles which was awesome and what's with the Japanese's obsession with mechs, they're kinda lame.

Battleship - 5/10

Few times I even laughed out loud because it had those "why the fuck are you doing that" moments. Did not like the movie.

The story is the story which I never really cared for (the whole every girl think she is a princess shit started with these silly fairy tales), but the visuals were outstanding.
