The Amazing Spiderman - 5/10 mediocre. why was a reboot needed?

The Raven - 6.5/10 Not really my kind of film but well acted and good story.

Ted - 6.5/10 Enjoyable flick with some funny moments.

Not the best Sacha Baron Cohen movie, but I laughed a lot

Comic-Con: A Fan's Hope 6/10

not really a fan of morgan spurlock documentaries and this one didn't change my opinion, just a 90 minute ad for Comic-Con without any real insight into the people that visit it

Being Flynn -7/10 ...good acting from Robert De Niro.

Mientras duermes (aka Sleep Tight) - 8/10...wicked movie... in an awesome way.Those who liked the
movie REC (the Spanish version) will also love this movie.One of the guys responsible for REC is also res ponsible for this one.

The Raven - 6/10 - Top notch old school mystery/thriller kind of thing, quite Poe-esque, Jack the Ripper vibe, but at the same lots of unused potential. Zero expectations. But good fun.

Hot Fuzz 8/10
From the team that made Shaun of the Dead, an buddy cop comedy/parody. The last act is kinda week, but apart from that it's worth seeing.

Sleepless Night (aka Nuit Blanche) 8/10
French action thriller like Taken or Die Hard, amazing acting and very tense. Totally recommend it to everyone.

Batman Begins - 9/10 - It's almost flawless, bits and pieces I don't love but mainly cause I'm a bit of comicbook/cartoon fan but as a whole it's a just a great introduction to the trilogy.

The Dark Knight - 9/10 - Although I always loved this I was kinda disappointed by the ending when I originally saw it. I thought when Alfred said they burned the forest down that it meant Bruce would have to do something similar and perhaps more complex to get him. I didn't quite feel that way now even though I would kinda like a more intricate plot to capture the Joker it's still an absolute triumph of a movie and the scene on the boats is quite moving. If I had one criticism of this movie is that it almost isn't a superhero movie, it kinda lacks that magic and while Batman doesn't have any powers he is most definitely a Superhero.

For me, the only downfall of that movie is the fact, Ledger is dead, so we wont be able to experience his godlike talent in that role, and he set that bar so high its not possible for any other action movie villan to beat this.

The Dark Knight Rises - 9/10 - I almost gave it 10/10 but I'm attempting to be a bit more sensible. Honestly it's just fantastic. It definitely feels like more of a Superhero movie than the Dark Knight did to me. Anne Hathaway was surprisingly good as Selina Kyle, funny to think how worried people were when she got the role. Alfred really shines in this trilogy and once again gives a heartfelt speech.
Bane is fucking terrifying, surprisingly more scary than what I've seen in the comics and cartoons. Who needs bloody venom.
I still don't quite get why the League of Shadows has such a hard-on for Gotham, I mean I kind of accepted it in the first movie but damn just destroy it and move on. I also don't quite understand Bruce's 'recovery' I'm pretty sure he was a borderline cripple at the beginning and not by the end?

I gotta say there's a reveal in there that I completely didn't see coming and that surprised me cause I'm not exactly new to the Batman mythology. The other reveal which was sorta obvious and they were hinting at almost from the beginning
The only thing that I didn't like about that was he didn't set him up as the new Batman and sorta just let him become the new Batman on his own.

It really is a great movie. Listen up industry I don't mind handing over money when movies are this good.
