21 Jump Street - 8/10 - Sometimes the most basic and cliched and predictable comedy works. It certainly did for me. Stupid but fun. Also that cameo! And an extra point just for the last two minutes/credits.

The best exotic marigold hotel 7 / 10

- enjoyable, the cast is great, heartwarming story and fun seeing the perspectives of the older generation.

Detachment 9/10

- Gotta be one of the best movies I've watched all year, a bit on the depressing side, but this is so far my best bet for Oscar nominations. The only thing that pulled it down a bit was one of the supporting roles perfomance (Erica), but it didn't affect the movie all that much.

The Dictator - That chopper scene did it for me, pure comedy there. 6/10

Bel Ami - 6/10 - A bit disjointed (perhaps a common complaint when dealing with adapted literary works?) but well done and what a refreshing movie to watch in today's age. The Twilight dude pulled it off really well.

Batman - I have no idea how to rate it, from todays point of view with special effects etc we have it's rubbish. But If it were in 89 I would think it was great!! Still the acting is solid and it really was a good film =)
