Prometheus 6/10

As a Sci-Fi Film this is a fairly acceptable film, if not a little bland. As a step inside the Alien Universe its a little dissapointing...... The film has some massive concepts, ie where did we come from, why did they create us etc... Does the film manage to pull of such concepts? For me no....

However, this being said the visuals were simply amazing..... The 3d added NOTHING for me i would not pay the extra for 3d viewings...

This film is crying out for a sequel to complete the intro into Alien,... Does it deserve one from this? I dont think it does.... It played safe in so many ways... I am hoping this will be a grower... I am going for a repeat viewing next week but im not holding my breath!

Project X. 7/10. pretty funny.

Intouchables 9/10. a french movie, just add subs and its allright.. but the movie was touching. top 10 in my movie list.

Last seen stoner movie.
up in smoke. 8/10 allways laugh like an moran to that movie.

The Help - 8/10 - For a movie that deals with Racism it's surprisingly managed to avoid the real horrors and violence while still managing to to convey just sinister and terrifying the time was. It's a pretty family friendly movie but it really works & I gotta admit I almost wept at the ending.

We Bought a Zoo - 6/10 - "a clumsy sermon on love and loss" - Ken Eisner. Couldn't have said it better myself but I'll add it' starts off well then quickly becomes corny and worst of all, unacceptably sappy in the last half an hour or so.

Payback - Director's cut - 7/10 - Silly but fun with a surprisingly unsatisfying ending. I just checked the wiki and this seems to be a very different film from the theatrical release, which is very annoying.

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance - 5/10 - You go into the movie thinking it may be a bit crap but hopefully it'll be fun and perhaps not as bad as people say it is, it's surprisingly worse. I can't believe I once thought Nicholas Cage was a solid actor and even worse everyone in this movie is at least as bad as he is. The saddest thing about the movie is the story and the dialogue both are appalling I can honestly say that almost anyone in the industry could have done a better job.
Special effects are nice though but feel wasted on this crap.

Snow White and the Huntsman - 6/10 - I appreciate what they were trying to do but it just didn't work. I like the idea of these fairy tales being retold with a darker edge but I dunno they don't seem to have much luck producing a decent film out of them.

Really hard to grade, It was visually a great film and actor wise I thought it was decent!! But I dont know how I feel about the story, and the ending wasn't much.

Can someone fill me in on what happend in the first scene with that big human drinking the black shit and go into ash? And the Aliens they come from the black goo? Since the boyfriend were infected, they had sex and she instantly became pregnant with a giant ass octopus alien, which then killed a big human to lay a alien egg inside or something like that

Got to say, was to tierd to see this kind of movie tonight, but still enjoyed it.

Project X - 7/10 - I never went to any party's when I was in secondary school I don't think there were any, even as an adult I never been to party like this. Seriously naked chicks in the pool! I have lived life wrong.
Anyway typical fun high school movie & who doesn't wanna see geeks succeed? enjoyed it.
