Iron Sky - 6.5/10

Never heard of it before the site changed its theme.

I thought it had a original plot and the comedic elements made it fun.

I would recommend to others and the blonde nazi was HOT :giggle:

Went in expecting something good, after about 40 minutes gave up. Switched off. Could not face another moment of it.
I cannot understand films that try to be bad and stupid for entertainment purposes.

1/10. It gets 1 point for having something of a budget.

The Raid - 9/10

Went into this film with low expectations.... I left simply im awww of how amazing this film was. I seriously cannot recommend this enough.... the action starts after less than 2 mins and its non stop action from start to end....

Prometheus - 8/10 - Very, Very good movie this. For a moment there I was thinking hey that explains everything but then I thought about it and well it doesn't, it kinda does but it doesn't. It adds another layer of questions which better not take another 30+ years to be answered. Noomi Rapace is excellent and goes through easily one of the most disturbing experiences I've seen in a while. She's no Ripley but who is. I loved Charlize Theron in this, her character might be a cold but she makes the kinda sensible decision that in real life you'd hope others would also make.
I love the ship too. I'm sorta glad that sci-fi has moved away from those terrible ships that you couldn't quite imagine spending any time on let alone years but unfortunately it does make them far less scary. A lot of people seem to think the second half of the movie is a mess and I kind get what they're saying, there are bits of it which feel underdeveloped and I expect some of it was left for the sequel.

Prometheus - 6/10 - Reasonable addition to the franchise, but wasn't overly impressed. The 3D was also wasted on this; only a few scenes where it made a difference. Did like Michael Fassbenders portrayal of the android David though, reminded me so much of Bishop even though in the time-line David is a pre-Bishop model. The ending felt rushed to me...and Idris Elba was wasted on this, whilst his contribution was solid, he could have had a bit more screen time imo.
Therons character was cold but I liked that, there to get the job done; exactly what we would expect and explains quite a lot about the corporate practices of Weyland-Yutani. (The AvP movie somewhat messed that up).
Disclaimer: I may be somewhat biased as some stupid cow was narrating the entire film one row behind me!

Project X - 5/10 - Typical teen comedy, although it wasn't as funny as it could have been - Decent dialogue was missing imo and it relied more on the sound and imagery to sell itself.

Prometheus. Barely touched my sweets or soda. Was entertained all the way. From the very first to the very last minute. I sicerely recommend YOU to go and watch it on the big screen!
