Not my favorite anime movie, but damn this movie is awesome. The only problem I have with it is that the story feels a bit rushed and incoherent, but apart from that totally recommended

Good move. Although the entire movie I couldn't get past the simple fact both of the guys could do waaay better than Reese Witherspoon

LOL...I've only watched the trailer but I was thinking along the same lines, she's nothing special and what will that chin look like when she's older? Do chins stop growing?

Coriolanus - 6/10 - Solid enough but I prefer Brannagh's work. Not a fan of the setting either. Fiennes was amazing.

Actually bought the boxset (the good one) weeks ago finally got around to watching the directors edition last night.

Of course I'd forgotten quite a bit of it and the wife joined me and came out with 'Oh yeah, he's a robot' just before they show it. I could have fucking killed her.

The Firm - 6/10 - Watched it just cause I wanted to see the recenty cancelled TV show so not gonna bother now. I thought it'd be much better. Hated the score and didn't find the story that interesting.

Get the Gringo (2012)

Mel Gibson commits a robbery and is chased by the cops up to the Mexican border and he ends up in a crappy Mexican jail. This is a tight and fast paced action movie and Mel still has what it takes, even though he does look old now.

And I'm assured no Jewish Hollywood Execs were harmed during the making of this movie.

The Darkest Hour - 6/10 - Sorta entertaining while also being awful. The Aliens were just a bit crap really and there's some seriously dodgy dialogue and acting.

Alien - 8/10 - Generally I fucking hate horror movies. I genuinley don't understand how people enjoy this genre, I hate being shocked, grossed out and worst of all scared lol. This film is genius though I hadn't seen it in years so I'd forgotten a lot and it still felt fresh.
The thing I hate the most about horror is the careless stupid decisions people make, I mean who brings an Alien abord, but it's part and parcel of human nature plus they never realise how dire their situation actually is.
The set design is one thing I kinda miss about old sci-fi, back then it really added effect even if it was often illogical I mean who's stupid idea is it to make a ship's interior that dark & terryfying? Unfortunately the one thing that I really never forgot was the ending which is so damn great I wanted to see that like it was the first time again.

Alexander - 6/10 - Good to see a historical spectacle like this in this day and age (well eight years ago anyway). Very epic. Perhaps overly so, as more focus would help. Should have used the same vast and impressive resources and delivered a more compact, coherent and ultimately powerful story. Then again would it do justice to such an exceptional man and his fate?

Noticed my rating system has become more kind after watching movies I couldn't even sit through..

Louis CK Live at the Beacon Theater - 8/10

Im a HUGE Louis CK fan and I feel he's the best living stand up comedian right now. If you're a fan of him, you'll enjoy it.
