Chronicle (2012)

A big misfire, mainly because of the 3 unlikable douche main characters that you don't care anything about, especially the cry baby of the douches who wants to destroy the world because he didn't have a fulfilling relationship with his dad.

Cars 2 - 6/10

This is going to sound weird, but too much sci-fi gadgets in a movie with talking cars prevented it from being one of the best animations in recent years. I expected much worse tho, after reading a few reviews before I started watching.

Chronicle - 4/10 - Not what I expected, and not in a good way. How they discovered their powers and the final showdown were the good parts. Needed more superpower related stories, and less unlikeable angsy assholes in a dysfunctional family towards whom noone can feel a shred of a sympathy.

The characters were the typical self absorption douche you 'd expect from teens these days so you cant hold it against the movie. I did think the story and the camera approach they took was very intriguing.

I did not expect this to be anywhere near as entertaining as it was. also what happened to that actress who plays the love interest in this movie? She used to be smoking hot and she is all bloated now. Someone needs to sit her fat ass down and explain to her how Hollywood works.
