Haywire - 7/10 - I liked it, it was very low key and a bit on the cheap side but very well done with good atmosphere.

an action movie with some actual substance in it and not just 90min of CGI with a few lines of dialogue trying to pretend there is a movie in there like the rest of them have been lately.

MI4 - Ghost Protocol - 3/10 - Thought it was rubbish, too many comedic parts in it for me and just didn't flow well, previous film was ten time better.

Agree, this movie sucked hard..

The worst part was when the bad guy jumped down with the suitcase in the garage instead of just throwing it down..

They did explain that he was out of his mind. I guess there was always the chance that Ethan would do anything to retrieve the case...even throwing them both off the ledge and using him as a cushion. I wouldn't say it was a plot hole

Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol - 7/10 - It was OK. Didn't have too much of that mask removing nonsense that pissed me off in previous films, great stunts plus I kinda liked the fact that some of their gadgets failed just seemed silly it was so many.

Haywire - 7/10 - All the right elements and somehow it just didn't quite work. Gina Carano is an absolute babe, distractingly beautiful while managing to be a badass but she wasn't given much to work with and who know if she can actually act. I didn't like the atmosphere or pace & the action scenes were kinda boring, I can see they were going for plausibility but it still bored me plus it seemed like they took too long sometimes, I mean if you get the jump on someone I wanna occasionally see a relatively quick takedown. It was entertaining but cause I expected so much it was kind of a disappointment. Still, hopefully we'll see more Gina Carano and with a bit of luck someone will eventually convince her to do nude scene. :wub:

I'm not one of those, who trash every movie they see, but this one was pure shit, and I'll never forgive Al Pacino for being in it. Seriously horrible, and should be deleted from the interwebs.

Avengers Assemble - 8/10 - Superb, not quite as perfect as I'd hoped but hugely entertaining. They did their best to make the Cap, Black Widow & Hawkeye look cool but while this works in the comics and animated series here they look completely outmatched. Hulk is just awesome, all that power unleashed looks fantastic on the big screen he totally stole the show but so does Iron Man Thor & Loki.
The big battle is fantastic from start to finish only thing that disappointed me was that

Hulk didn't pick up Mj�lnir & toss it back at Thor

we definitely need another Hulk movie after that. Oh and as usual don't leave the cinema til the credits role.

I'm gonna be a bit of a pervert here but I've never found Scarlett Johansson that hot, but if that was her Arse un-enhanced in that catsuit, during the scene when she's talking to Loki, then I would give up everything to bury my face in there :wub:

Oops spelling mistake, that's what disappointed me. He did that in the Ultimates and I love the fact that he's so strong that he can overcome being unworthy but that was the Ultimate universe and Avengers is only sorta based on that.

Avengers Assemble(2d) 8.5/10 -

It took a little time to get going which i liked and has some good comedic moments as well as strong action, i agree the mere mortal characters where very hard to fit into this uber league with Hulk etc but they did it better than expected. Def recommend it.

Battleship(2d) 8/10 -

I have a soft spot for silly CGI action films as long as it throws a nod at the reason it got made and some fun in it, didnt even notice Rehanna or whatever that bint is called till a long way in so i guess she was ok

. Good fun action, is a cut above some of the others of this type, Recommended also.

Underworld Awakening - 4/10

Nice ass in a shit boring film. download + dont bother with the cinema.

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows - 6/10 - Much better than the first one and great fun but at the same time oh so disappointing - the craftsmanship and filmmaking were superb, the second half with its spy plot was brilliant, but why did it have to be so disjointed, chaotic, over the top and hectic. Less Downing Jr., more Sherlock, please - or not even Sherlock, just more 19th century spycraft and conspiracy and less Matrix.
