The Da Vinci Code - 4/10 - I forgot how boring it was. Watchable, but poor. Tom Hanks walks around. Pulls out random facts and leaps of faith. No Ameile, you are the daughter of Jesus. So much unused potential - the same goes for the book by the way. All the possible mysteries and investigations and suspense... wasted.

The Artist - 8/10 - Loved it. Simple but powerful. Lovely visuals, magnificent music.

Also says something about movies in general when a black and white silent film with a handful of actors ticks all the boxes and provides much better entertainment and quality than many big name and big buck productions.

The Darkest Hour - 4/10 - This will probably become cool to hate but for me it was okay enough. An entirely predictable, forgettable and lame flick, but still watchable. Higher budget and more action would have helped.

Lacked tension and excitement. It felt like an ordinary action movie to me. There was just no spark except in the parking garage sequence. And I really don't think Simon Pegg is such a good idea for this franchise. Bring back you know who.
