Wasn't too overly impressed by the ending, still a great movie definitely worth a watch.

Really cool and stylish movie with a powerful sound, but it was hard to hear the dialog sometimes though.
It reminded me a lot of 300, especially the fight scenes, which were awesome!

Just finished it and got to say I agree with many of your points. But I give it 7.5/10. The fight scenes were even better then in 300, it was fast paced and brilliantly choreographed. It was visually amazing aswell, good sounds, but together with the dialog it was allmost impossible to hear what they were saying.

I saw this movie yesterday, didn't make my boat float at all.
It had it's moments but i just couldn't care less about the characters. They were kind of flat and one dimensional imo.
It had some cool stuff going for it but meh...i just kept thinking about the dumb things in the storyline all the time so i was never fully immersed into the movie. Kept me from enjoying it.
Gonna go and watch gladiator for my "killing ppl with swords in ancient greek/rome-fix".

Although i watched at a 13.3 macbook and not in 3d in the cinema but i don't think that a good movie should "make or break" cus of effects like 3d.

So this movie get's the thumbs down from me.
Imo 300 was cooler.

Immortals - 5/10 if I'm being kind.

What a mess of a movie. I just sat there thinking throughout the movie: "so this is what 300 superlight looks like." Every character, except Rourke's, was uninteresting in the extreme.

Oh, and shameful use of bodydouble for Pinto. Why even bother if you can't find someone with her "likeness".

Immortals - 3/10 - Maybe I'm being too generous but in the pile of poo this movie was there were a couple of things I really enjoyed - I liked the stylized visuals to a certain degree, some of the fight scenes, and also how some of the mythology was handled - too bad they raped more than they did right or in an interesting way. Also the major part of the movie itself was awful boring fight scenes between guys covered in dirt and some bad dude in a ridiculous helmet and a billion cliches and yaaawwwnnn.

Yeah, mouse got that right, it's a mess, that describes it perfectly.

The Immortals - 4/10

It looked nice, but was a shell of a movie

Harry Potter (whatever number the last one is) - 7/10

enjoyable overall. Only slight complaint was the "smallville'd" the last fight between harry and the noseless dude, you cant have this many movies and give a 10 sec final fight.

I'm glad to hear you had the same experience as me. It looks like we have the exact same taste in action movies. I was tempted to give it a 8/10 myself, but when I thought about the other movies I rated 8/10, then this had to be a 7.

That first fight scene... :-O

I just sat in a awe the whole time. It was amazingly choreographed!
I really liked Cavill in this role. It's good to know that he is the new Superman.

I can't believe the other reviews here for his movie. Are you people one of those that need an incredible story just to be entertained? Take it for what it is, jeez. :-|

Looks stunning but a rather dull story makes for a boring movie and it doesn't matter how good it looks.
Disappointing after all the hype.

The film was mesmerized! I read the book also last year. Great movie my Martin Scorsese, you got to love it, its Paris 1930s.
I have to admit that the movie reminded me of Beno�t Sokals game Syberia.

Sacha Baron Cohen as Station Inspector ?! GREAT !

Was OK, but I don't think it did the Muppets any justice - more Muppets and less jason segal/amy adams(not that they were bad) would have suited me fine.

Definitely brought back some memories...
