Moneyball - solid acting from Pitt with an interesting story since I don't know the first thing about baseball. Quite predictable though, like most movies about sports, and I'm not sure what I think about Jonah Hill. His comedy background shone through a couple of times in ways that didn't suit the movie.

Red Cliff 2 - 9/10

A terrific ending & one of the best movies I have seen so far. Lives up to the hype of its' prequel.

Real Steel 9/10 - A bit predictable but a fun movie. Funny how Holywood are keen to pursue copyright infringment yet scripts get reused continuously.

Moneyball 9/10 - Great story, read the book in 2005 while on holiday in Virginia was quite impressed with Hill.

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy 9/10 - Didn't realise there were so many great actors that came from the UK

Rise of the Planet of the Apes 7/10 - CGI was just a bit too obvious at times and apes jumping through plate glass windows does seem a little far fetched to me LOL

The Ides of March 5/10 - A bit boring

Hereafter 5/10 - Watched in two one hour sessions to alleviate the boredom.

L.A. Confidential - 10/10 - One of the best films I have ever seen. How I haven't really heard about it until now is a mystery to me. Can't think of a single thing that wouldn't work. The atmosphere, the story, the acting, the movie gets everything right. Ten points out of ten, no question.

9/10 from me.
