The Thing 2011 is actually a prequel of carpenters the thing...

about the norwegian base where the dog that was chased by the helicopter in the beginning came from.

The Thing 2011 - 7.5

Good but obviously not as good as carpenters. But the actual "thing" looks much more awesome... good cgi.

Immortals - 6/10 - Great visualisation and some great action scenes but story wasn't the greatest, tried to be like 300 except that was better!!

In Time - 7/10 - Premise kinda sounded dumb to me but I think it actually worked. It's a surprisingly good movie and while it tries to be full of social commentary it's a pretty simple thriller I guess. It's well cast, well acted and very entertaining plus I liked how the ending didn't wrap everything up in a neat little bow. Can't complain and my god Amanda Seyfried is just fun to look at.

The Thing 2011 - 6,5/10 - Better than I feared, worse than I hoped.
It was an ok horrorflick with nice special effects. I liked how they tried to keep the continouity with the 82 Movie.

"Analog" Special effects were really awesome even in the 80's... but something this surreal is of course better digitally... so, you got me there!

definitely worth a watch... never seen the original though.

A czech film based on a true WWII indicident about the retribution of heynrichs assasination where a whole village was destroyed, all the men and old enough boys shot, women sent to camps and kids who were not enough arian looking gassed.
I have been studying this case and I found the film very touching and good.

Fright Night: Im always skeptical towards vampire movies ever since the twilight shit hit the fan, But this one was actually good and funny at times. Reminded me of Zombieland. A little predictable but a good movie non the less. 6.5/10.

The Thing (2011) - 8/10, Really enjoyed the movie to be honest and liked the way it all tied back into the original 82 movie, some of the cgi wasn't great and that was my only annoyance.
