Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 - 8/10

Much better than the first part, and a solid ending to the saga. I wish the final showdown would have lasted more than 15 seconds tho. :rolleyes:

Atlas Shrugged - 7/10

Could have been a blockbuster if they got some bigger actors and made it a bit longer, no point in breaking the story up into a trilogy could have been done with 2 slightly longer movies, even though they claim the sequel will be 30-40 minutes longer. (if it even gets made since this movie tanked supposedly)

Good thinking piece, even though it is less than ideally made.

Some of the violent scenes felt rushed/pushed/whatever. Otherwise one of the better movies. Will probably win a shitload of prices. One of the best endings...ever.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 - 3/10 - What the hell, the previous one was bad but this was the worst HP movie ever. I struggle to think of any redeeming qualities. It's like from a certain point in the series they started to take away the magic and adventure and just pumped it full of boring gray things.

Super 8 - 9/10 - I absolutely loved it. Funnily enough the space monster plot itself and its resolution were the least interesting thing. This was fun, this was adventure! Oh to be a kid again.

If only I had known it'd be a pre-teen drama before watching it...
I'm sure that a lot of people enjoy will enjoy this movie, but I'd rather shoot myself in the foot than watch more of that high school love shit.

Dont know what genera this movie is but to me this is more of a horror then the slasher/ghost/zombies type movies that try to scare you, because this is real and there are fucked up people like these out there in the world and that scares me.

I fucking love this movie. The story, the casting, the effects, everything is almost perfect. This movie could be made now and still look cutting edge.
