The film gave me the superhero feel which made it fun. Agree on the story and the effects not being the best, but I just love these marvel/whatever superhero movies.

Green Lantern - 6/10 - I was pleasantly surprised. I expected something incredibly lame but instead I got a watchable superhero flick.

The Dead (2011)

A fairly decent zombie movie set in Africa. The zombies are slow moving but they are everywhere and sneaky so the last few survivors who trek to a distant fortress are always in danger.
The two main characters are quite likeable so you do care whether they die or survive.

There are a lot of zombie attacks and near misses to keep you interested even though the movie seems a bit long. There are no really epic scenes but the ending almost sets one up.

Part of the attraction of the movie has to be the dry African landscape and it's colours so the movie looks great.

Drive 8/10
I agree that the first 8 minutes were the best, but I got spellbound by it anyway. I really like the silent style, the camera spans with carmirrors etc, I really like how it was directed - hope the danish director wins something for his work!
I read somewhere "Drive isn't about cars. Drive is about what "drives" the characters and how they deal with the circumstances they find themselves in" which I really agree with.
Drive isnt your normal action movie, its a real drama and if you are into that kind of stuff you will like Drive!
(And it had a kickass soundtrack!)

Drive - 2/10 After 40 minutes of blah blah blah I had to shut it off, this movie was like a rehash from some bad soap opera I just couldn't go any further.

Melancholia- 4/10 wtf did I just watch, I mean seriously most interesting scene was her bathing naked in the moonlight.

The Howling: Reborn (2011)
A horrible werewolf movie. Lame story, weak script and b-grade effects.
There's a couple of decent actors but they're wasted on this because it's mostly about a high school romance anyway. Best to avoid.
