For me it's more like this
1 or 2: Absolutely horrible
3 or 4: pretty bad but has some redeeming quality (nudity or ultra violence, hot lesbian sex scene etc.)
5 or 6: Mediocre, worth passing the time but not spectacular or worth watching a second time.
7 or 8: good film, well worth a watch generally entertaining.
9 oe10: Bloody good film, highly recommended. Worth a second and possibly a third watch.

Anyways. Captain America. I would have to give that a 7-7,5, I enjoyed it but it was not phenomenal.

I agree, though. I don't get people who rate a movie 5/10 but then says it's awful/terrible. That just doesn't make sense.

Small Town Murder Songs - 7/10. A bit short but with a good story, and it feels like a Cohen brothers film...

Pretty good for such a budget. And even though I didn't get all the dialogue, it was rather funny to hear that fucked-up chav/thug-speak.

X-Men: First Class 7/10

It seems like they are getting back on track with this franchise.

have been sick for a while now so I watched some movies..

Passengers : 6.6

sad ending, made me cry

Gone Baby Gone : 7.7

end felt a bit disturbing.

Triangle : 6.7

i wanted some happy twist in the end, but no, ending felt bit predicted..

Blade Runner : 7.1 , i've waited too long to see this great movie.

Friends with Benefits : 6.8 , the one with mila kunis

X-Men: First Class : 8.1

sooo much better then the old ones.

Fast Five : 7.4

Scream 4 : 5.7

first 5 minutes was fun

Serendipity : 7.0 ,Kate Beckinsale♥ hawt.

Thor : 5.8

thought it was a litle too childish and geeky or something.. thought that more of the film would have played out on earth

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides : 6.9

Cool Hand Luke : 7.0 ,old movies like this, have this nice calm feeling about it that's not in new ones

I think its really hard to rate movies. though i gave it a shot.

Paycheck - 5/10 - Wow this was Lame. Everything was just wrong. The writing was terrible, the tone wasn't serious enough, I hated the score, the acting was awful yet it had some top notch talent in it and the action scenes sucked.

The story was pretty good though, it was based on a Philip K. Dick short story afterall so that was to be expected. There was an opportunity for some really good cerebral sci-fi in the hands of a decent writer but it didn't come together and the whole thing felt shoddy.

The Duchess - 7/10 - Not usually my type of movie these period piece things but I really enjoyed it and totally understand choosing Hayley Atwell over Keira Knightly although I too would have both if I were in that dude's position. That's what I took from the movie, why didn't he turn that into a threesome. :lol:

could have been slightly better made, like some stupid names and such. but otherwise a good watchable movie. wouldn't mind a similar one in the future just better made.

good 1 time watch, nothing worth to watch again though.

Kill the Irishman (2011)

This was a little better than expected. At first I thought the movie took place in the UK .
It's actually set in the US a few decades ago and it's about a very likeable and tough Irish gangster who goes up against the Mafia in the US.
