I gave it 4/10 simply for the clear sexual tension between Vin Diesel and The Rock.

Super 8 7/10

A movie well worth the watch, but it's not so much worth a 2nd or 3rd watch. I feel after you've already seen the movie, it can't surprise you anymore, and it just wouldn't be as entertaining.

Hanna: 6/10
The movie is similar to "The Bourne Identity", but not as good. The movie also have several fairly large plotholes but that is pretty common these days.
It's still a decent movie though and worth watching.

Do they not READ the scripts before investing millions in a movie? Or do they just try to throw it out there as fast as possible and pray the name sells?

2/10 and only because both Ryan Reynolds and that hot babe he had there are hot.

Hanna - 7/10 - Very interesting audiovisually, so an extra point for that, otherwise a slightly watered down and 2deep4u variation of Bourne as bonus said. But decent fun nonetheless. Still, I would have prefered more of a straight action thriller approach.

ALSO ISAACS IS THE BEST CHARACTER EVER.

X-Men: First Class - 8/10 - Fantastic. The leading duo were brilliant and how the story developed around them was really good. That said I was rather unimpressed by the supporting cast of some random dudes and dudettes with lame powers, two good scenes and half a dozen completely unimportant and uninteresting ones. Did I just say a comics movie about superheroes would be better with no or less superpowers? I guess I did.

meh. the mermaids were hot but that was about it. It almost seemed like they were writing the movie as they filmed it.

The Lincoln Lawyer - 8/10 - Loved every minute of it. Great pacing, I kept wanting to see how the next scene would turn out all the way through.

I enjoyed it for the most part, low points being Betty Draper and Denise Huxtable's daughter who both cant act.

Bad Teacher (2011)
Hilarious.
A fabulous bitchy role for Cameron Diaz.
The supporting cast are also funny, except for Justin Timberlake. He's still a hack.

6.5/10

Water for Elephants (2011)
Not a bad circus movie about a stowaway who falls head over heels with the wife of an abusive circus boss and there are serious consequences.

That's not all though. There's a great animal story in there as well as some weird and wonderful circus characters.

Thor - 8/10 - I for one liked it! Strangely enough what complaints I have are similar to First Class. Loved the over the top, theatrical take on Thor and Asgard, as well as the funny adventures of Thor on Earth. There could have been much more of that. But what I didn't really care for much was the rest. The fighting and Destroyer and those friends and whatever.

Yeah, nothing extraordinary, more like a disappointment if you take in consideration the fact that it had a pretty good actor/actress line up.
The old "immature hero has to learn a lesson while he is betrayed by a person who belongs to his inside posse".
The neat special effect only just don't cut it anymore.

Expected it to be absolutely horrible, surprisingly pleasant to watch.

X-Men: First Class 8/10
Easily the best x-men movie, though don't really get why they killed the cool sub-character Darwin and kept the silly ones like screaming boy and angelgirl.... Michael Fassbender brilliant as always.
