3 means horrible, and Pirates of the Caribbean are far from horrible. Yes, I haven't seen the latest one, but I doubt it's THAT shitty.

True Grit - 8.5/10

The acting performance from everyone who appears in the movie is simply brilliant. The whole feel of the movie let's you believe you're in the golden age of the westerns. The plot has been done, and it's safe to say I expected something more from the Coen brothers, something special, but it still takes place next to Unforgiven as the best westerns in the last 40 years or so.

True Grit - 5/10 - Bridges and the girl were neat but I feel like I have watched some different movie than the thousands that have rated it with an eight over at imdb. It was not bad as in unwatchable, it was just pretty much devoid of anything really interesting bar a thing or two.

I liked it alot! Very mature for a animated film, the voiceacting was good (the fact that Timothy Olyphant was in it sealed the deal for me), animations were great!
