Had a good film-week so far! Quite extraordinary...

Wag the Dog - 3/10 - Whoa that was disappointing. You see all these references to it, you read about how it portrays the giant spin machine, even more relevant today... and it turns out to be an awfully boring movie with inane, annoying dialogue and direction going nowhere, particularly later in the film. I mean I, well, not enjoyed, as that was impossible, but I appreciated the take on the issue of 'wagging the dog' but everything else, the sauce that makes a movie, was utterly obnoxious.

Black Death 6/10 enjoyable flick with a dutch actress

The Living Daylights 4/10 boring bond.

Paradise 7/10 well done short!

Vidocq - 4/10 - Meh, nothing of too much worth. Didn't care much for the bleak and dirty noir/history/steampunk feel and when this pastice got a massive dose of fantasy it didn't help. Would work well as a game or maybe a series? Cheap ridiculousness is much more easily tolerated there.

This movie kicked so much ass, and it was awesome to see such an elite cast in such badass roles. And the comedy was funny as hell. Nice one!

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader - 7.5/10

As good as the first, maybe even a little bit better. There's a lot more going on, but too bad Peter and Susan aren't in this one.

Something in it's darkness was cool. Without the forgivness to the preacher part in the end, I would have given 8, but they had to make the typical hollywood faith end to it.

Never Let Me Go - 9/10 - Best film I've seen this year. It's beautiful, sombre, sweet and horrific. Science Fiction loves the scenario, I've seen it many times over the year but I've never thought it realistic as I find it impossible to believe humanity would ever en-mass support this & stoop this low but that doesn't taint the underlying story which is a touching story about growing up, love and dying.

First of all, what was 3d in it? The subtitles?
Crap story, Seth Rogen sucks dong and the effects were lame.

Kato is the only reason it got 3 out of 10.

The movie wasn't shot in 3d! so yeah that's pretty lame.

Clockwise 3/10

Black Swan 9/10 This was really good!

Get Low 5/10 Could've been much better if it was a Clint Eastwood production with himself in it.

Adventures of Power 5/10 Weird but somehow a little bit enjoyable.
