The King's Speech - 9/10 - A wonderful movie! A point off for what seemed to me like a bit too over the top relationship between the two guys. But it says everywhere they were pals... so I guess they were.

Once Upon a Time in America 6/10 I expected an awesome gangster movie, all I got was a 4hrs boring drama.

The Legend of Drunken Master 5/10 First part was waaaay better, though I watched the dubbed version. (dont know if theres a non dubbed version out there)

Notting Hill - 8.5/10 - highest score i've ever given a romantic comedy i think. brilliant film.

The Kings Speech - 7.5/10 - very well acted and interesting. Due to the type of film it is I think it has limitations

The Company Men - 6.5/10 - good enough film, nothing to write home about though

Life as we know it - 6.5/10 - entertaining but a bit too much of the dude running around in a vest

True Grit - 7/10 - My brain does not like the way folks back then spoke. For some reason I just lose what they're saying and find myself going back, not sure why that is. Anyway I think this is the first time I actually enjoyed a Coen Brothers film. It's not the best thing I've ever seen but it was a good film with a straightforward story and characters who for the most part made sense to me, not something I can say about other Coen brother's films.

A well made remake, I knew what to expect. All the way through I was trying to guess who got their cock chopped off :lol:

. The revenge killing were superbly gruesome. I also enjoyed the remake of "Last House on the Left". If you are a fan of the old school "video nasties" then I would recomend this. Perhaps not one to watch anywhere near a feminist but the movie was good.

For remake value I score it 9/10 one of the best remakes I have seen

For a stand alone movie I score it 8/10 :thumbsup:

An incredibly good zombie movie. Loved that they actually got some real actors in this one, instead of the horrible acting in the first one. Really a great movie, worth watching.

It is a very good film and i never bothered to watch it. Good action and humor all around. The direction is very well done as well.

Loved it. It was just enough serious to make it believeable, and just enough (light) humor to make it fun to watch.

True Grit 4/10

I am usually a big fan of western movies. However this one was somewhat stretched out and boring my opinion. The story was predictable, and the journey was too dry. Could have used more gun fights and action. Also I found the girl character particularly annoying. Last two westerns have been complete let downs for me. True Grit and Jonah Hex.

The Chronicles of Narnia - Prince Caspian - 5/10 - Take a kids book, add a bit of LOTR and spice up things with Jesus. Predictable. But entertaining enough. That Dinklage dwarf character had some great lines.
