despicable me - 5/10 thought the voice acting was shit, characters sucked, overall no thanks...
shrek forever after - 8/10 i actually laughed more than once
tangled - 5/10 i heard this was supposed to be funny, it was singing like the entire time with 2 jokes...

An ok movie, nothing special but well worth the watch.

Cyrus 5/10

Was expecting it to be better from the IMDB rating but turned out to be pretty lame, the camera work was especially horrible.

Leon - The Professional (1994)

Mathilda, a twelve-year old New York girl, is living an undesirable life among her half-family. Her father stores drugs for two-faced cop Norman Stansfield. Only her little brother keeps Mathilda from breaking apart. One day, Stansfield and his team take cruel revenge on her father for stretching the drugs a little, thus killing the whole family. Only Mathilda, who was out shopping, survives by finding shelter in L�on's apartment in the moment of highest need. Soon, she finds out about the strange neighbour's unusual profession - killing - and desperately seeks his help in taking revenge for her little brother. L�on, who is completely unexperienced in fatherly tasks, and in friendships, does his best to keep Mathilda out of trouble - unsuccessfully. Now, the conflict between a killer, who slowly discovers his abilities to live, to feel, to love and a corrupt police officer, who does anything in his might to get rid of an eye witness...

Must be the 10th or so time I've watched this movie. It gets better every time. A real classic.

The Town - 7.5/10

I watched the extended cut and it dragged in some areas which would have probably been cut in the regular release, but overall it was very entertaining. I took off half a point for Afleck's horrible Boston accent, the guy grew up there how could he not know how to do one??

Skyline (2010)

Not as bad as what you have heard. It borrows a lot from other scifi movies though so there's nothing original here.

The downside to this movie was the mediocre actors who were given a lame script with too many one liners, the dumb characters with their stupid actions and the open ending which could mean a sequel might be made.

The upside was that the Alien CGI for the production budget was very impressive.
The destruction of the city structures and the air force squad was pretty well done also.

The premise of "aliens invading earth" is a great one so even with it's faults it was still watchable.

Skyline - 3/10 - B grade, made for TV Cloverfield/Independence Day/something wannabe. For a proper alien invasion flick it focuses on the characters too much, for a character driven movie set against a dramatic backdrop the characters and story are spectacularly poor.

Oh and just to top it off I thought it had one of the worst fitting soundtracks ever.

Not bad of a movie to watch on a lazy Sunday afternoon however the typical pre-teen Disney love crap should be avoided.

The Town (2010)

I decided to watch it after all the hype.
A good cast and some decent thrills and action but the one thing which spoilt this movie for me was the improbable love story.

I would have preferred it if he kept his distance and remain an anonymous admirer and maybe become a benefactor to her hockey club and then reveal his true identity in the letter at the end and ask for forgiveness.

A few chuckles here and there but it was too kiddish for me, not on the same level as the other animated movies that are fun for both children and adults (due to hidden jokes that will fly over kids heads). This one was good fun for children my nephew loved it but i thought it was a bit boring.
