Don't bother finishing it as it's way overrated and it doesn't get better. It's full of unlikable douches, including the girls.
The plot is repetitive and tedious and even the action was too cartoonish in several scenes.

Cera still has a rubber band tied around his nuts to give him that annoying high voice and play the same geek like always. Ramona is not pretty enough and she's as dull as a door knob and Culkin looks even more like a freak in this movie.
The only good bits were when the bands were playing some cool music.

The difference between this movie and Kick-Ass is that I disliked everyone in this one but loved everybody in Kick-Ass, including the gangsters.
I'm glad this movie failed at the box office.

Over rated and I also cant stand Michael Cera. How does he keep finding work?

@Phantoma: That Ramona chick is actually hot (she was the cheerleader in Death Proof), its just this movie took all the hot chicks and made them plain for some bizarre reason.

Scott Pilgrim - 4/10 - ok so i finished it. i think it got a tad better in the second half, but how anyone could compare it to Kick Ass is beyond me! I just did not get it. (The 4 points were given entirely for the good effects they had.)

The American - 5/10 - erm, kinda boring. 5 points mostly for the italian woman

Galazy Quest - 7/10 - good entertaining film! had a good laugh at times

Monsters - 4/10

boring low budget version of Cloverfield. There was just so many wrong aspects of the movie from the tropical rain forests in northern Mexico (its a desert) to the US and other nations not simply nuking that entire area.

I turned it off halfway through. Maybe since I'm not 11 or 12 anymore, I didn't like it. How could any "mature" adult sit through this movie? It's like a mix of Anime, The Disney Channel, and bad acting rolled up into one. And they added sex just so they could call it an adult movie, which it clearly was not.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World - 6/10 - I'm an adult but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy a crazy fun movie. And fun it was. Though I expected more to be honest. More of that fun, weird stuff (as in more 'game/pop culture/fun' and less 'movie' if that makes any sense).
