The Kingdom 8/10. Little bit propaganda flavoured (trying to give more positive picture of saudis to average joe in us) political action film, not bad though.

The Kingdom - 8/10

Good action film, but as sniperfin said I wouldn't be suprised if the Saudi Royals were the main financers of this movie.

I tried to watch Pink Floyd The Wall but quit after about 30 minutes. I love the band but the opera wasn't worth watching.

Before that it was Seven Samurai (thank you, IMDb top 10 pack). The film was beutifully shot and the characters very well acted. However, since it's over 50 years old I think I will never be able to appreciate it fully.

The Golden Compass (cinema) - 8/10 : was well acted, is a great story and animation & effects were spectacular....but something was missing in it. the way i think to put it is this: Lord of the Rings is an epic in each book and therefore each film left you satisfied....with the Philip Pullman trilogy, all three together make an epic, but one by itself leaves you a bit cold almost. Can't fault it though as a film.

The Kingdom: 6/10 - little dull at times, but fairly interesting non-the-less.

Balls of Fury - 4.5/10 - was fairly funny at time, light-hearted etc. could have been better done though.

I'm not there - so far 4/10 - I have watched the first half and I have no idea what's going on! I just dont get it! Some interesting bits and full of good actors, but honestly, im lost!

Most over-the-top, no holds barred action movie I've seen in a long time, and I loved every minute of it :-D

If you've seen the trailer and thought that you'd like this movie, you will. Hell, even if you just think you'd like a movie called Shoot Em Up, you will.
