Brooklyn's Finest - 4/10

Horribly done movie. I dont know if it was the bad editing or just the way the movie was made, but it just didn't work. Also the way the "tied" the different storyline together was a complete joke.

Hunger - 7/10 - No sympathy for the IRA here especially as their London Bridge Station bomb missed my mother by minutes but I gotta say this is an amazing film and made me sympathise somewhat with the cause and passion for it but never with the use of terrorism.

Gran Torino - 8/10 - As good as they said it was. Kinda reminded me of Harry Brown just with a lot more depth. Great performances from all involved & loved Sue. Really good film this one.

Escape From New York - 6/10 - I really wasn't feeling the love for this film. Another so called classic that does nothing for me. I just don't get what's to love about it, bad acting, average story and all in quite annoying characters.

The Karate Kid (2010) - 8/10 - Almost perfect imo. For all the talk about this raping our collective childhoods this has to be one of the best Karate Kid rip-offs of which there have been many over the years. The main problem is probably the age of the kids involved, they're a couple of years too young but that's a minor flaw.
Jaden Smith is a big surprise as he was just awful in The Day the Earth Stood Still but he nailed his part in this. I'm still not set on the title given that there's no actual Karate in the film but the film is fantastic, touching and uplifting. Enjoyed it!

Edit: I was really hoping to see something exiting and different like his other movies.

Hot Tub Time Machine (2010) "8/10"- Was an excellent movie, great laughs, good characters, Chevy Chase pops up for an 80's flashback. What more could you ask for? As for the plot, it's a bit...whua? But it's a goofy film and if you don't take it seriously its awesome.

Green Zone (2010) "9/10"- Pretty awesome movie, not as good as Matt Damon's other works, ahem Bourne. But still an intriguing thriller with plenty of shooting and great support, big budget explosions, good story, Captain Price wannabe makes an appearance, I'll let you try and spot who I mean, and overall a solid movie, well done Damon and Greengrass. But get back to Bourne ffs!

Been watching some Woody Allen:

Manhattan: 8/10
Very well made movie; excellent cinematography (loved the black and white), entertaining and clever dialogue. I liked it a lot

Love and Death: 6/10
Death has never looked more awesome, but it wasn't that hilarious to be honest. Felt like a bad version of a Monty Python movie at times, although the setting was pretty nice. Acting was horrible sometimes (on purpose? Sonia was mostly awful anyways). Definatley worth a watch though, had its moments.

Youth in Revolt 7/10 - Great movie, if u like stuff like Juno and Nick and Norahs infinate playlist, you will most likely enjoy this one too.

Greenberg 0/10 - Seriously.... wtf is this shitty movie about, im on my 2nd can of coffee, and I almost fell asleep... Couldnt watch the whole thing. I really.. really expected a little more from a movie with Stiller. Don't waste ur time on this one !!

Cop Out 6/10 - Pretty funny, love Tracy Morgans ^^ and Seans William Scotts character is also quite funny.

The Losers 3/10 - Watchable.. But it pretty much sucks, the action scenes are poorly made, and so are theire attempts to be funny at times.
