I agree.. as far as I remember I didn't laugh once watching that movie. Even though it's all about taste.. 10/10 might be a liiittle bit high.

Hot Tub Time Machine - 6/10 - Not awful but not funny.

Stuck On You - 6/10 - Again not awful but not funny.

National Treasure - 7/10 - Better than I expected, very silly but fun.

What Happens In Vegas - 7/10 - Generic Rom Com, it's watchable.

The Air I Breathe - 7/10 - Weird film, not sure I actually enjoyed it but parts of it were OK.

Dr Strange - 7/10 - Love comic book animated movies but never really liked the whole magic thing and so couldn't really love Dr Strange.

Anwyay I'm not a huge fan of like the totalitarian state dystopian 1984 type scenarios, in fact I disliked 1984 quite a bit but some are alright. I like to see the struggle to survive, the good and the bad in people and ideally a little bit of hope for the future. Much as I loved The Road and Dawn of the Dead both scenarios sorta make trying to survive completely pointless.

Anyway some my Favourites that I can recall right now are:

Terminator Series (Yeah I like all of them)

The Day After (Threads is better imo)

I've also just downloaded a movie called The Rapture (1991) & Testament (1983) so I'll report back once I've seen them.

Hellboy: Sword Of Storms - 6/10 - You know what I've tried but I just don't like Hellboy. He's a shit character and it's crap story, fuck it!

I Love You Man - 8/10 - God making friends when you're an adult is fucking difficult especially good guy friends and this film captures how awkward it can get so well. Loved it.

27 Dresses - 7/10 - Your standard RomCom but I've been in love Katherine Heigl since I was a kid so she makes everything that little bit sweeter.

Appleseed - 5/10 - Oh man I haven't seen anime in ages & completely forgot just how fucking stupid Anime can be. The story is just so shit and silly even for Sci-Fi that I just got bored and subsequently confused.
When I finally caught up with what was going on and the old guys are explaining the whole fucking nonsensical reasoning for their actions I seriously wanted to kick the writers arse. I mean I really still have no idea why anyone thought it was a good idea to create Bioroids and put Gaia in charge.

I genuinely can't express how shit the film was, every word of dialogue was far more annoying than the last. Yes it is beautiful but that just isn't enough.

entertaining flick, expected something more on the lines of Taken, but this was alright

50 Dead Man Walking 9/10
I love movies based on "lesser" known conflicts (like Black Hawk Down and some parts of Tears of The Sun) and this one was right up my alley, great acting and the setting of the movie was amazing

Shutter Island - 6/10

Ive seen enough of these movies to know the "twist" within the first 15 minutes. It wasn't a bad movie, but it sort of beneath Martin Scorsese to make this kind of a movie its something an M. Night Shyamalan director would do.

Shrek Forever After � 8/10 � Shrek is always been good and so was this.

The Whole 9 Yards � 7/10 � Not bad at all, bit silly but I liked it.

Armoured � 7/10 � Love the concept and love the idea of a movie being set in a small area I'm astounded when it pulled off right (Man from Earth) but while I enjoyed this it is kinda silly with loads of problems and it's not that exciting or tension filled.

Unthinkable � 8/10 � Fucking sick. I'll be honest I don't have too much of a problem with torture if we pretty much 100% know you did something but it being done on the off chance you may be able to help is so wrong and as for being willing to do the 'unthinkable'

I'm gonna have to agree with Agent Brody and say let the bombs explode cause doing that is beyond sick and if you're willing to do that how far are you willing to go.

Wasn't a great movie though, quite weird really but the scenario and some of the performances made it very enjoyable.

This movie make you think and put you in weird positions to chose between wright and wrong , And that's what make this movie amazing . :thumbsup:

Rampage - 6/10 - This is not the good movie I was promised. I'm hesistant to even call it a movie. I don't think I've ever seen such a paper thin plot in my life. Guy goes on a what kinda seems like a revenge killing spree but doesn't really have any reason to kill any of his victims, he eventually reveals his reason for killing and really it's just fucking daft, thanks man you've made a big difference to all out lives. :wacko:

Literally all we're watching is a crazy evil douchbag mowing down innocent people. There are elements of his plan that are pretty smart but this guy is by no means a genius and perhaps had the setup been more complex, the deathtoll far higher and there been a sophistacted cover up I may have been impressed and could possibly see a bit of logic to his plan but there just wasn't.

As far as characterisation goes it's just non-existant, there is a possiblilty that I could sympathise with this guy had we got to know him but while we're given a good 30mins with him but all I got from that was he is an arsehole, his parents hoped he'd move out & go to school, plus the whole improv thing just doesn't work for me in anything but comedy.

This seems to be the best Uwe Boll can do and it's just not very good.

Of course she's dissaproved it's one thing to say let a man who admits and just callously proved he's planted bombs to be tortured it's quite a different thing to say yeah sure use the wife & kids.
At that point the government who has already allowed an innocent woman to die is about to allow children to be used in torture & be tortured. Like she said let the bombs go off cause if you go down that road you're fucked.
