Unthinkable - 6/10

Meh, I dunno. It worked okay as a thriller - in a way it was reminiscent of the flick with the bomber nuke attack on Russia (a remake starred George Clooney IIRC) - but I must say I did not care much for the low budget, television movie feel.

I also thought it was way off with the characters and the story. I actually do notmean the 'bad' stuff, but the outrageous cliches along the lines of 'omg u cant do that thats evil we are better than that!!!11'. I don't think anyone would act like that. Not in a scenario like this. The movie tried to conjure up something from a premise that wouldn't allow for it in the first place.

Simple but cute. Jennifer is, as always, worth a sin, and Gerard is always funny in roles like this.

From Paris With Love - 7/10

Okay. Travolta very good, the serious parts (especially the ending) not so much. The fun parts were fun, but there could have been more. Also king Henry should have been used more I suppose. Good clean fun for a rainy afternoon, if rather forgettable.

Oh and royale with cheese.

Youth in Revolt - 7/10

Story was a bit out there for me, but there were definitely hilarious parts and it's my kind of dry humor. Portia Doubleday looks kinda awkward at times but in a bikini, damn hot.

You know I read all about it and knew what it was about and thought it would suck because of the stuff that was not crazy postapocalyptic ninja fighting, and yet I enjoyed it well enough. Strangely enough I did not really care as much for the postapoc and fighting stuff as for Denzel's voyage west... Nothing too special but a pleasant surprise after approaching it with plenty of negativity.

Vidocq - 7/10

French movie from 2001 that I had to watch with subtitiles as my french is shit.
Good thriller with nice plot twist..if you can abide subtitles I would recommend watching this.

I didn't like it .

Why they made comedy/romance so long this days? it used to be less than 1 hour 40 minutes but now it's more than 2 hours , movies like Knocked Up was 2 hours 10 minutes ,Funny People was 2 hours 37 minutes! WTF!!

No Country For Old Men - 6/10 - Eurgh! Coen Brother's films, why do I bother?

Perfect Blue - 6/10 - It was OK

The Book Of Eli - 8/10 - Far Better than I expected, really enjoyed it.

Fast & Furious - 7/10 - Really don't know why I enjoyed this series so much.

Alice In Wonderland - 6/10 - Surprisingly bad.

Robin Hood (2010) - 7/10 - Better than I expected and I couldn't hear the Irish accent.

Capitalism A Love Story - 7/10 - OK

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time - 7/10 - Yeah it was alright.

well...even if anyone else does
i didn't really like the little girl
and the same 2 shots of her face somehow pieced in the majo action scenes (at least, if i watch a movie totally baked and notice something like that, it's gotta be obvious) made her look like some kind of mouse or sth
very irritating
overall it was a pretty cool movie, though

Iron Man 2 - 9/10
that's not on an absolute scale, but definitely one of the best movies in recent memory
more action, more comedy
good improvement over the first part (imho), which wasn't bad either

Clash of the Titans - 2/10
it sucked.

Book of Eli 3/10
pretty much the same; i liked some scenes, but overall nothing in the movie "spoke" to me
(i generally very much like the setting, The Road was pretty good)

Prince of Persia - 6.5/10
decent enough

From Paris With Love - 6.5/10
tough decision, but i remember enough flaws to not rate it higher right now

(might just be me, but i had the feeling travolta didn't really bother to act in some scenes o_O)
