storyline is terrible, but they really nailed the feel of the zombie apocalypse, if they had reworked the story a bit i recon it would have been an awesome movie, it's been a while since i saw a propper zombie movie where they walk and aren't Olympic sprinters

This movie rocked. Period.

It was entertaining from start to finish, good actors, good music, good editing, everything.
I really enjoyed it and im happy I went to see it on the premiere!
Cant give it a 10 tho since some stuff was a little bit sketchy!

jetpack was ugly...

Clash of the Titans - 1/10

Film was absolutely shocking, a huge build up and the actual epic battle sequence only had about 10 seconds of action. But I'm a sucker for 3D so had to see it. Also paid extra for the VIP seats, full leather and extra leg room :cool:

Mine too, thoroughly enjoyed it, as a 2D movie (which most people will see) 4/10, as a converted to 3D experience 8/9 out of 10.

Defendor - 6/10

As a 'movie' it was rather average at best, the serious/comedy tone was kinda uneven and it felt poor at times, but what really stood out is the message, the feeling, you know, the Forrest Gump effect so to speak. The thing that makes you smile but it's sad at the same time.

Ed Wood - 8/10

Alright, so truth of the matter is that even I can't help but feel uneasy at Ed Wood's work ethic. He's so excited about doing things that he forgets that he's actually supposed to do them well. The excitement is palpable in this picture, yes, but the feeling transmitted by this awkwardness of seeing this man do everything wrong and never even do any self-exploration or examining of his own mistakes is hurtful to the picture. I have no doubts over the historical accuracy of his enthusiasm, but it also makes it very hard to look at this man and say that he's an inspirational filmmaker. He has the brawn, but not the brains.

He pushes through boulders with his bare fists, never minding the consequences that punching a goddamn boulder might have on one's knuckles. This raises the question of why I should feel so inspired by a movie that portrays a message I so wholly disagree with of enthusiasm being more pivotal in filmmaking than the actual quality. I am not one to denoun the value of pure interest in working in cinema, but you shouldn't do it if you are this unsuccessfull in self-critique. Ed Wood is an awkward look into how the best intentions can be ruined by poor hindsight and even poorer retrospect. Still, I will never say that this is a bad film. In fact, it is excellent. But the somewhat lackluster delivery of an enthusiastic and pivotal message makes it a bit worse than I'd say it is had we atleast gotten one scene with Wood thinking about what he has done and why he perhaps failed. But no. Everything he does is greaaaaat.

Would have given it a 4 if not for the great ending. The whole creepy athmosphere and mystery was so ridiculously in-your-face that I couldn't believe this was a Scorsese. The music was terrible as well.

And what's up with him being allowed to run around in the C-building with dangerous lunatics on the loose? Made no sense at all and there was more stupid stuff like that throughout the movie
