Alice in Wonderland 3/10

As somebody already mentioned, it just felt rushed. Couldn't stand the actress who was playing Alice. As far as I can remember from the old Alice in Wonderland, there was no white queen or jabberwocky. I'm comparing this to the one I watched as a child and it barely had any resemblance apart from the characters. All in all I walked out fairly devastated. Need to watch the one I loved so much just to remember how awesome it really was

the jabberwocky and the white queen are from carrolls's "through the looking glass".

brooklyn's finest - 8,5/10

watched this one last night and i thought it was very good. inspiring camera work. good soundtrack. great acting. i will probably watch it again soon now when there is a proper release out.

Second time round and I found it funnier because I had missed some of the stuff first time (or just wasn't paying enough attention).

Having seen those "Hitler" spoofs from this movie I finally downloaded it. Absolutely brilliant acting all around in this movie. The entire movie you are just screaming at the screen "the guy is crazy just shoot him already and run to the west to surrender!!"

Heat 9/10

One of the most realistic shootout scenes in any movie, great actors (Pacino is a BIT over the top, as always), though a bit long at times. Still, one of the best crime Movies of all times, Michael Mann knows what he is doing, "Collateral" is another high ranking movie he's done.

Sherlock Holmes - 5/10

Well that was... disappointing. I mean yeah it was fun and Downey Jr. was Downey Jr. but the whole dirty, grimy gray and brown look on everything historical in movies is getting a bit old, and so is the over the top action/ohoho 'witty' fun mechanic, really. I don't particularly mind what they did with the Sherlock Holmes character or ideas but I can't say I'm a fan either. It's entertaining in the way most major blockbuster movies are, but it's a failure otherwise for me.

Started a bit slow but got very funny towards the end. Sacha Baron Cohen is just fuckin' crazy, the things he does in this movie... i've seen people getting beaten up bad for less than some of the stuff he does in this flick

I could fill three pages with why this movie is the epitome of 90's action movies while still being up par with more modern releases, but i think everything that could've been said about this flick was already said. This was cinema back in the days!

40 directors shoot 52 seconds of film each with the cinematographe that was invented by the lumi�re brothers. it was pretty interesting but it could have been better.
