Mean Machine - 7/10 - So damn predicatble but ok

Spun - 7/10 - Weird drug fuelled movie. Didn't really enjoy the whole thing but warmed to it towards the end

With the exception of The Fly I'm just not a fan of Cronenbergs movies and Videodrome is by far the worst I've ever seen. I swear to god if anyone else mentions how it's got great social commentary I'll fucking kick their head in :-D

The whole thing made no sense, so I'm supposed to treat the movie as a metaphor for our relationship with Television & the media. GTFO. :lol:

All kidding aside I'm not entirely unimpressed, the idea is great but it descends into madness pretty quickly and by the end there's nothing left to understand, you can only interepret events which is great for some but generally not the kinda movie I want to see.

Very good. For sheer acting alone it deserves to beat out Avatar at the Oscars. Hope Kathryn Bigelow wins best director, would be a nice change of pace yeah?
