28 days later 5/10, wow that was one overrated movie IMO

the dark knight 10/10

i dont remember the title but it was a horrible movie it was called something like room 44 where this writer checks out if this hotel room is seriously haunted after several warnings he still went into the room and

ended up almost killing himself

3/10 that was one of the worst movies ive seen the past 12 months

I saw this movie a year ago and thought It was scary as hell ^^ If you like scary movies I would recommend it

It's not a 3/10 atleast a 6/10.

yea that was it, my other colleagues seemed to have enjoyed it.. i was expecting a really different kind of horror more like 'room at the end of the hall' but yea the acting was very good i guess a 3 is kinda overkill

Dont agree, the ending didnt make any sense at all according to the rest of the movie, and around the ending it all happend so fast and random, not at all inte symetry to the rest of the movie.

went from good to bad guy, couldn't let him win in end could they. it could have been better yes but not much resolution they could have done.

Seen the 9.5/10 someone gave Clockwork Orange and had to rewatch it for the bazillionth time, this is a 10/10er defo, can actually only think of one other 10/10 right now.

Law Abiding Citizen - Well like many of you I found it to be pretty good. But the ending was just pathetic. I mean really, really bad. Why couldn't it just end the way you wanted it to?!

Sherlock Holmes - 8/10
I should probably say that I have never read a single Sherlock Holmes book by Doyle, nor have I seen any of the classics with Rathbone, so I can't really comment at all as to wether or not this story remains even faintly faithful to the original tales of glory (even though I have heard that it is faithful to the original stories). This is a success from Hollywood in a genre that it has continuously managed to fail in ever since the 90s. The major blockbusters of the last two decades have attempted to copy this very classical adventure-formula, sometimes succeeding (Curse of the Black Pearl) and sometimes really, really failing (Cutthroat Island), but Ritchie gets it right - unfortunately to the extent of this film becoming somewhat clich�d. It's still fun and very enjoyable, particularily due to the fantastic score and big production values. Even though Ritchie seems to have some problems with keeping it together with some of the larger set pieces, everything still goes along smooth as cake and it's very hard to find unenjoyable in my opinion. I must admit though that it is a shame that Holmes works alone for about half the film; I think Watson is a very good balancing character in this film to Sherlock, and the two together bantering is definately the highlight of the film alltogether. I also appreciated how they didn't make Watson into a bumbling buffoon but instead a real character who's in fact very good at what he does. The climax is also rather exciting due to good build-up, but I must admit that the "big revelation" of that chick's employer is so obvious from like the first time we see a mysterious figure in this movie that it becomes damn near anti-climactic.

Meh. As a mindless wild ride it's cool enough and in the first half it even delivered some suspense... but as a whole - you know, acting, plot, script, it oscillates between worthless and hilarious.
