The Corruptor 7/10

This one's a gem, solid 90's action movie. Saw it in english for the first time, and after five minutes watching, this came to mind:

Diary Of a Mad Black Woman - 6/10 Better than I thought it'd be but not great but I have a thing for Kimberly Elise & Lisa Marcos so they made it watchable.

The Abyss - 6/10 - Waited a long time to see this and I didn't love it plus it was too bloody long!

The Quiet Earth - 7/10 - Great film although there was a werid bit of acting between the 3 it was a good solid film

Enemy Mine - 7/10 - Not what I expected, kinda played like a kids film made for adults.

The Hidden - 7/10 - Predicatable but watchable.

Year One (2009)
Last year we had The Love Guru as the most humourless and embarrassing attempt at a comedy and this year we have Year One.

Judging by this I doubt that Jack Black and whoever wrote this pile of crud have ever seen a movie called Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Same genre but light years apart in skill.

An original and refreshing idea for a scifi movie with an excellent story, superb Alien CGI and a very good non-Hollywood type ending. Definitely worth a few watches.
