G.I. Joe - 7/10

I was expecting a stupid cgi action flick but I got a pretty good cgi action flick! Absolutely loved the magnificent first half an hour or so, the middle dragged on and lacked plenty of action, and the end was good again. I can't have many complaints regarding the action and stuff, only that there could have been more of it! Lazers and machineguns and fighter jets and submarines and figthing and shooting and stuff exploding!!!

I do have some complaints about how they handled the franchise though. I'm no fanboy, I totally don't mind how they went about Cobra or MARS or the Cobra Commander thing or even if some characters are black or not, but I would have liked more of SNAKE EYES DAMMIT! He is the awesomest comics character out there. Didn't see much point in introducing the Baroness/Hauser thing though I suppose it worked. Also, I hated the lips on SE's suit but that's a rather gay remark, isn't it.

I guess we'll see a sequel (unless the movie was an utter disaster financially?) or maybe two and I suppose it's rather promising. Plenty of characters to work with, the premise of Cobra & doomsday weapon threaten the world and are foiled by JOES never gets old... OH YEAH and how cool would Samuel L. Jackson as Stalker be? It would be cooler than Snake Eyes frozen in an iceberg!

tldr version - if I were a 11 years old boy I'd jizz in my pants, but since I'm somewhat older I got a ZZZAP BAM WHOOSH GI JOE RULES MOVIE!

The Goods 7/10 Laughed the whole way through the movie.

The Ugly Truth 6/10 Snuck in this movie to make up to my girl for seeing The Goods but turned out to be a good movie.

I actually downloaded the X-Men trilogy and rewatched them (haven't seen 'em in a couple of years) and they're amazing!

Great movie by Raimi! I ve been hating on horror alot the past years with the crap movies weve had to go through like saw and shit.

This one actually scares the shit out of u like old skool style, I loved it.
