I really don't see where the love for this film is coming from. It was just the most random scenerio after random scenerio. The Tyson cameo was painfully unfunny and yet it's rated to be the holy grail of comedies. Baffles me...just felt like an unfunny 'Old School'

Its funny how you guys give a movie an 8 and say it could have been better.

An 8 is a movie so far up the list in goodness it has or should have had 12 oscars.

A 9 is the shawshank redemption and a 10 is yet to exist.

U571 - 6, a good movie worth watching.

Well would you not agree that a movie worthy of an eight could have been better? As you said there is no perfect movie existing so all has something to improve.

Also Oscars have no real value to me although they seem to mean something for you. I tend to disagree with their decisions.

At least we can agree on one thing: people tend to have bad movie taste in general. This was what you were after, no? ;-)

In principle I'm against all kind of point systems when it comes to movies, music or "art" in general. Pretty stupid I still give points to movies here I guess...

bruno - 5/10 ok,there were few funny moments , but some of the jokes like "i wanna be as famous as hitler" were lame .. and im not in the habit of watching naked penises in the cinema '-.-

Terminator Salvation 7/10

Quite possibly the franchises 'salvation'... nice change to the generic cat & mouse formula we've had for 20years. Only thing I missed or the movie never explained was how Kyle came to be on Skynets hitlist. When he's a complete unknown at this point in the story. Skynet is only recently aware of John Connor (At this point in the story.. if you class this now as a prequel to the 1st).. I dunno maybe the concept is lost in a time paradox..

any thoughts?
