Transformers 2 - 8/10

Action packed film which I thoroughly enjoyed seeing in the cinema of course!

But the comedic scenes which were thrown in-between scenes were a let down.

Also the ending wasn't that great, I'm sure they could have thought up something better to kill The Fallen.

Star Wars 4, 5, 6 - 6/10

I know, I know... and I'm rather surprised myself. I remember enjoying them immensely way back. And then only slightly less so later. But I watched the trilogy earlier today and found that it just wasn't that great anymore.

I have become twisted and warped and demand much more action, story and eye candy, something I remember the newest three movies having in abundance (though ep 1 is a bit too childish). Also, EWOKS!!! Gahhh... and even without them the movies just don't cut it anymore.

Then again my opinion on episodes 1-3 might also change as I'm set to watch those later today!

I have been waiting Watchmen for some time now. I never read the comic although I knew a lot about it.

With so many people telling me that the movie wasn't actually that good I was a bit afraid I would be hugely disappointed after watching it. Luckily this was not the case. I did actually enjoy it quite a lot. Even the huge length of Director's Cut didn't bother me.

I can see how Watchmen divides peoples opinions. It's not your everyday hero movie nor is the story something that's going to open up to everyone, I reckon.

Just got back from the theater and I was laughin for half of it, and the other half just made me sick and grossed out. So it delivered on what it was set out to do.

I liked that a lot, but then the end twist sort of screwed up EVERYTHING in the film so far.

But yeah, I just finished The Hurt Locker. Possibly the best film this year so far, and most certainly the best film of the Iraq war I've seen.
