The Haunting in Connecticut

A very decent ghost movie. Got quite a few good scares in the movie and the acting was good too. The movie is also based on a true event.

Obviously this movies problem is that the story, plot, etc. is not very coherent, the human characters are rather superficial and apparently have to crack a joke every 2 minutes. The most annoying robots, the twin-robots, reminded me of Jar Jar Binks, which wasn't cool. Now the first transformers flick was decent and better than this one (I'd rate that a 5/6 to be honest), but this one thoroughly disapointed. Bay needs to learn to appreciate story and plot more,, cool down on the (childish) humor and the dumbass patriotism and flagwaving.

in regards to the latter especially the scene with the Jordanian forces, who could spare, apparently, only two measly helicopters and not even get a decent shot in, were quickly disposed, and then in the next scenes to follow, trumpets and drums and the whole shizbang prepare the way for the superior american army... tripe

i saw it at cinema yesterday.Ye the story is so-so,its kinda scary but only because director decided to make "F.E.A.R-like instant frame flash scares"

Watchmen - 10/10

You know I was thinking is it eight out of ten, nine out of ten, is it more, is it less, but then I said screw it and thought only a ten will do this justice. Despite the cgi ranging from very poor to average at best, despite me reading the comic book a short time ago, despite me still disliking the character of Dr. Manhattan and thinking it ruined a 'realistic' feel of the work, and despite all other numerous negatives I can't remember right now but which were there, the movie was really really great.

I knew the story yet I sat and watched and wanted more despite knowing what exactly would come (well not everything if you know what I mean but I didn't mind the change at all, it fit nicely and I'm no comics fanboy or anything). I actually think the movie did a much better job in presenting the ideas and thoughts behind the whole comics/superhero/scifi package than the book itself. The soundtrack fit very well, it was really a great movie.

I'm usually the first person to laugh at things that take themselves seriously and that supposedly carry a deeper meaning - but not this time.

The Secret ..was worth the watch give it a 6

Just saw Watchmen, and I'd say it's easily 9/10. The first comic book movie that actually felt like a comic book. I never read the Watchmen comics (or 'graphic novels' for the fans

) but I did read a lot of old Batman as a kid, and this movie felt kind of how I hoped the new Batman would feel.

So yeah, last seen movie was Watchmen, which is a solid 9/10.

Watchmen 8/10 More interesting than most superhero movies. A bit pretentious though, probably due to the source material.

Watchmen9/10 - Damn what a great movie, I really enjoyed it from start to end. No long boring bits, and way more gloomy than most superhero movie. Plus quite a lot of blood and gore

transformers 2 6/10 - great cgi , action , megan fox cute (BUT PLAYS SO BAAD !) , movie has very sucky story tho ... and ending with epic optimus prime speach was ... pathetic and ridiculous...

Johan Falk - 8/10

Swedish Action Movie, another one in the series of the police man Johan Falk.
I like the series, they are really good. Don't know if you can get them with english subtitles,but if you can i recommend you to watch them.

Public Enemies - 8/10

I really liked it but I felt there were too many characters being thrown around in it to make me care about any of them...other than John Dillinger

Christian Bale's character should've been cast to someone else as I feel he was wasted on this movie.

Stephen Graham was brilliant as Baby Face Nelson though, given the little amount of screen time he had

I felt the story jumped around a bit too much as well. All the bank robberies felt like generic occurrences and the shootouts were nowhere near as exhilarating as I thought they'd be like in Heat

Watchmen - 2/10. Terrible. I want the 2hours of my life back
Gran Torino - 910. Brilliant. Why are movies like this and Watchmen being released. Crazy movie world.
Duplicity - 3/10. Almost made me wish i was watching Watchmen...almost.

Public Enemies 6/10

I had such high hopes and expectations for this film and although it wasn't a total let down it did not live up to what I envisioned. First of all it dragged on about an hour too long, there was way too many scenes where the camera slowly pans over shit, or does a slow motion overview over the entire scenery, these take like 1 to 2 minutes and happen frequently in the film. There was no character development you didn't really care about any of the characters. There is not enough time dedicated to the high action bank robberies and shootouts that this gang was famous for. Overall it was an average film, that I regret spending $11 to see it in theater.
