Watchmen (2009)

Just watched the Screener.

Engrossing story, strong characters, clever script, well paced (not slow at all).
A very satisfying adult superhero movie. I'm so glad it ran for nearly 3 hours.
Wish i had seen it on the big screen now. I think I'll buy the blu-ray.

Yeah it was okay. I didn't like how they went over all the conspiracies and mysteries way too fast - I mean it was like 'ah ha, 503 could be interpreted as a zebra, and zebra has stripes, hence the next clue is to be found on St. Peter's square'. I suppose the book goes deeper than that but on the screen it felt a bit rushed and perhaps instead of cramming it all in they could have picked one thing and show it more in depth?

Well anyway it was still a fine movie, great soundtrack, stunning visuals of Rome, a decent story (if hindered by the aforementioned handling of it). I don't remember the prequel about Jesus' kids too much but I think I enjoyed A&E more.

Terminator Salvation - 5/10

Mhm, well, it was a decent scifi action flick with bits of Terminator thrown in. An okay movie but it wasn't 'great' as in 'epic' or anything, which I kind of hoped it would be when I went to see it on the big screen. It just wasn't special.

Transformers 2 - 6/10

Difficult to rate this one. The action and cgi and fighting was brilliant, that alone would easily get a much higher mark from me. Although a few times I thought the scenes were cut short or simply weirdly cut - the you know who stabbing you know who came out of the blue for example, and I mean that in a bad way.

However I found the movie to be too silly and corny. Why have cute perverted tiny robots? Why all the stupid jokes? The university scenes? I got a few laughs out of that, sure, but there was just too much of it. Less teenager humor, more giant robots fighting please.

Oh yeah yesterday was a robot day for me!

The Hangover 9/10

I actually went to the movies to see this and it was great! I loved the humour, the cast and everything. One of the best comedies ive seen so far!

Angels and Demons 7/10

Loved the book, but the movie didnt quite match it. It was good, but it went too fast. Still i like the genre, the idea and the mystery/history in it.

The CGI was great, but that was the only good thing about this movie. If you like a bunch of explosions, and immature jokes, you're in a for a treat. Otherwise, save your cash and go watch something else. Oh, and I watched it in IMAX, and still didn't think it was that great, too bad really, just needed a coherent story.

knowing was a good movie sure, but it suck me in in the way i was looking for, maybe deserve a 8/10

angels and demons was a good movie, but it was a bit predicteble, good guys win and so on, is a but boring to me

still a must to see.

night at the museum.. just big fail IMO, first one much better, tho a nice chick in this one

and yea, bangkok dangerous 9/10

watched this recently, and i loved it. Cage is always a good actor and he fitted well in this flick
