I could swear Ive seen this exact stroyline before in a kungfu movie, but this was still very enjoyable. Also the Chinese are also getting very good at the visual aspects of movie making, they are great cinematographers.

Changeling - 9/10

That was pretty cool! I didn't expect much from the movie - I mean at first I was like 'Changeling? A B movie about aliens? No, a thrilling drama... ho hum' - but I liked it a lot. It really got my blood boiling a few times in the same way the Cuckoo Nest flick with Nicholson does, with people getting stripped of their freedom and humanity, facing the evil and impossible, and was a great experience overall.

Strangely enough I thought Jolie's role was the least interesting... I mean, she was obviously the focus of the movie, but instead of being the star, she was more like the necessary foundation upon which the film was based if you get what I mean. Malkovich was brilliant. That Hahn lawyer fellow was pretty kickass in those few moments he had. The police guy was slimy in a great sense. A very good movie.

That's what I also thought! 4 years ago ... I rewatched it and couldn't get excited. Maybe I've seen it to much, maybe It's in my memories so great because of the N64 game. I don't know!
Yes it deserves better then a 6/10 but I vote my movies just on how I experienced it at the time.

Role Models - 5.8/10 - kinda crap but had the odd moment i guess. I'm a fan of sean william scott and elizabeth banks is hot so that made it watchable.

Red Cliff, both parts - 7/10

Chinese guys swinging swords, exchanging witty remarks (and highly suspicious subtle smiles, too) and arrows. Also thousands of soldiers. And pikes and halberds. And ships.

I expected it to be more of a historical epic (like the old movies with Charlton Heston you know... those ruled) and less of an Asian fighting flick (though it wasn't primarily one as opposed to all those Crouching Jet Li Hidden Katanas Hero movies) but it was good.

The Day The Earth Stood Still - Without doubt one of the worst films I have seen in a long time. Utter shit is putting it mildly. And that kid, :angry:

if that was mine I would put the fucker up for adoption.

Quite overrated. And when the bad guys went to recruit an army, the American flag on the background almost made me puke and turn of the movie. Ever since then the movie became highly overrated.

original punisher from 1988 was terrible

the remake in 2004 was ok, good action just ludicrous story really

this seems to be again removed from previous versions and stands on its own

not sure if il watch tho
